Great video. Was looking forward to upgrading my iPhone 10 for a 14 but the more I hear the more I'm inclined to getting a refurbished 13 as the prices are supposed to be insane this year and the updates, incremental at best.

Although nothing is official, if the rumours hold up true and if you are referring to the iPhone 14 and not the pro models, then the 14 should be the same price as the 13. But getting an iPhone for cheaper isn’t a bad deal either since iPhone’s nowadays will last you for years.

I have actually been an Android / WP user my entire life. This year is the first time I am considering an iPhone upgrade, I am just not that techie any longer, and spend more time appreciating nice photo quality. But I am certain that I will not purchase it until iJustine and/or LTT come with a review, the only 2 true reviewers for me. And I am certain I wont have to wait for too long.

I now have the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the foldable display, can't go back to a smaller screen phone. You'll say the same in 5 years when Samsung decides to make the displays for Apple iPhones. Just like when Apple made fun of big phones, years ago.

With apple releasing the midnight MacBooks, I’m REALLY hoping they release a darker iPhone. Personally I’d like a similar shade to the Jet Black iPhone 7 & 7+, without out the glossy finish.

I know many people on RU-vid are too young to remember, but this is not the first time apple has used titanium. It was used for several versions of the G4 PowerBook in the 90s and early 2000s. I had the 12 inch G4 titanium PowerBook for years. 2015 wasn’t the first time apple sold a 12 inch computer. Of course, it weighed just over 4LBs.

When the iPhone becomes a satellite phone then I’ll just die peacefully. Even though it’s super expensive. Like imagine not having to worry about cell service. GPS is great most of the time. So maybe Satellite service wouldn’t drop as much.

14:43 yes we need it under display and UltraSonic sensor. Why ? Cause Power Button Fingerprint scanners are capacitor based and they don't work if you have sweat, water, dust, oil, etc on you fingers. Under Display Image based sensors are not secure. So yes we want Under Display Ultrasonic sensors which are safe af and still work even if you hands are wet, oily, sweaty or a little dirty, just like in Samsung Flagships. edit: Snapdragon's 3D Sonic Sensor are even trained to recognise a fake finger. So even if someone made 3D print of your Fingerprint using silicon, it will detect it and not open the lock.

@@I.dris47 for the first part that’s exactly why I want a phone with both because otherwise people will continue to advocate for one being better, or one being outdated and needing to die…. As for sales apple is notorious for doing such things iPad vs iPhone, iPad vs Mac, and I believe they do so out of believe that sales are better when devices are better such as customers can seek what suits them better, I believe that a mini iPhone Is much more suitable then people give it, and hope apple will find a way to incorporate it in the future (I can definitely see a future where SE and mini are a secondary iPhone lineup that is more budget/user friendly…) As for touchID I personally do not feel comfortable with FaceID and so it renders all iPhones without homebutton unusable and sadly the 3rd generation SE is not exiting enough to justify an upgrade because of the many areas that it lacks

USBC iPhone is coming next year with the iPhone 15. A15 in the iPhone 14 will offer more performance than the 13. ShrimpApplePro: Due to new cellular modem and a new internal design, among other changes. We may see Vapour cooling chamber in the 14 series that will allow the chip to use more power without getting too hot. Right now if you put pressure on your chip Apple throttles down the chip to keep the phone cool.

Agree about the 8K being unnecessary. I got 1TB storage with the iPhone 13 and I don't regret it but it is heavy. I wouldn't want to get any heavier. If they increase the storage - they need to do so without adding weight.

I am sooo excited for the iPhone 14 Pro models. After switching to apple from Samsung in my first year of college, I’m never turning back to android. People look at me like I’m crazy for upgrading my iPhone every year, but I am truly a huge apple fan.
