This is a review of the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. In this review of the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, I go over iPhone 15 features and compare them to the iPhone 15 Pro and last year's iPhone 14. Thermal issues were only on 15 pro and pro max. The 15 plus has no heating issues.

I switched my 14 Pro’s motion to 60hz to see if I would be bothered by it, and honestly…It doesn’t. But I also use an iPad Mini 6 as well so I guess my eyes are used to both refresh rates. Really wish the 15 Pro’s got better upgrades.

My husband just surprised me with the iPhone 15 in pink! Loving it almost as much as my husband! A great upgrade from the 13 who has now gone to my husband who thinks all iPhone are fantastic after being an android user forever..

Masculinity is a multifaceted construct influenced by cultural, social, and individual factors. Associating it solely with a particular color or any singular characteristic neglects the diversity and nuances that contribute to one's understanding of masculinity. Such a reductionist view fails to recognize that gender identity and expression are deeply personal and can't be confined to simplistic stereotypes or color associations. So if you like it , go ahead and buy it !

I just got the pink regular 15 and it’s great. The island is a strange thing when you’re not used to it visually but it’s cool. Also coming from the plus size that was hurting my hand as I damaged my nerve cutting it, I find that the 60Htz is less noticeable than on the bigger sized screen. So it doesn’t bother me. But yes, I do agree it’s crazy to still have 60 in 2023!

I am maybe the only one that does not like the high refresh rate. Like it makes me dizzy when scrolling on twitter and instagram, like its too fast for my eyes lol. I came from samsung which had 120hz and i turned it off the 2nd day.. So i really enjoy the iphone 15s 60hz but still very smooth.. @@jonathanj.3695

If you're not huge on technology and haven't used a pro device before, it won't be noticeable at all. It's a really overrated feature, same with the always on display.

The bezels on the regular 15’s are the same as the one on the iPhone 14 Pros. The 15’s essentially have inherited the bezels from the 14 Pro’s and the chip.

Great job on the video like always. I went from the 14 Plus to the 15 Plus because of all the extra features that has came out this year. I also like to change year over year. But I will say that the 14 Plus battery life was awesome. So far the 15 Plus seems to be following the same trend.

@@JSLReview yeah I really did like the 14 Plus the battery life was awesome I had it for 11 months and the battery health was still at 100% which was outstanding. But the 14 Plus got the crappy end of the stick when it was released even a month later.

for the average, the lower refresh rate is actually not causing any impact to iPhone 15, you wont notice much, the camera quality i felt was better compared to iPhone 15 pro on some areas that I shot.

My ex-wife is upgrading from XR to regular 15, and I’m honestly a bit jealous, although it was my recommendation. 😂 There are a couple of perks compared to my 14 Pro, namely the 24MP default pics, the weight and the new portrait option. I do like the 48MP RAW option, 120 hertz update and always on-display, but honestly, if I myself would’ve upgraded this year I probably would’ve chosen the regular 15.

The picture quality on the 15’s are also better than those on the 14 Pro’s (Which I also have). Apple updated the software so the images are lesser sharpened than those coming out of the 14 Pro’s; More natural looking too.

Are you coming from a 13 or under? You won’t notice any difference. 14 pro max is too heavy. Sometimes I notice the difference in the refresh rate, but usually not. The 15 plus is perfect for me. It has everything I need. ❤

For the average iPhone user, 60 Hz refresh rate isn’t an issue. I am trying out a Pro and do t notice the difference from my 13. Go with size and camera features. I’m thinking of sacrificing the extra camera features for the larger 15 Plus

Yeah the picture has to be of a person or a cat or dog and there needs to be a certain amount of depth in the frame. But it is accessible on the non pro 15!

Yeah I hope Apple comes in with a 90hz panel to replace the 60hz. But sadly I’m not holding my breath, took them this long to get usb c and get rid of the notch, I would be surprised if we see a few more years of the low refresh rate

The heating issue with the iPhone 15 line up were primarily with the pros and a recent software update seems to have addressed it. I think either the 13 or 15 are solid choices, the 15 will give you better longevity so if it’s close in price I’d recommend going with the newest iPhone. Hope this helps!

Why is no one talking about the heating issue in iPhone 15 and 15 plus models? It's so terrible to get heating issues in an iPhone. Seems like every other person on You Tube is full of Apple praise and completely ignoring the heating issue.

It’s not a real problem with the non pro 15 models. Plus the issue was mainly addressed via a software update.

I'd *take* an iPhone 15 (regular) but I don't think I'd pay for it. If developers start to develop a lot more for the Dynamic Island I *might* get the 15, but other than that I'll stick with my mint condition (and mint green) iPhone 11. Still the best form factor Apple has created to date.

So I was in target two days ago and AT&T has a offer to get a free iphone15 😂 I think I payed $60 in taxes and that was it. My iPhone 15 pink just arrived in the mail and I'm not apart of the iphone family 🎉 I love it. Definitely better then android

I bought my very first iphone a 15 plus. I've been an Android user for 20+ years. But to be honest, I'm not impressed with Apple's battery and OS at all .🤷🏽‍♀️ Tho Camera? Amazing !

@@ammaraslam4306 I love it! Definitely an upgrade from my 11. Sound is great! Better battery life for me. Last all day. Pics are realistic/natural this time. Bigger screen is great!!! 😊👌🏾 I do wish it had 90hz. But not a deal breaker for me.

After upgrading from my iPhone 12 to 15, first week thoughts. Please do not upgrade. I hardly see a change in this phone. Mostly similar to iPhone 12. A very slight difference in camera which you will not notice on daily usage. I regret for the change and whoever wants to upgrade to 15, think twice !!

I also upgraded from a 12. No one seems to talk about the 12!. I just liked the dark blue phone that I had. It was always covered. I got the pink 15. My next favorite color. They look amazing together.

I have a 12 mini and I also personally think it serves the purpose. I love the form factor and convenience of the mini but I was thinking about upgrading. After watching some videos, I felt that my 12 mini works perfectly alright and I have no reason to upgrade to 15. Thank you for the comment as it helped me to make my decision.

If I needed a new iPhone I'd probably get the new base 15. I'm still enjoying the 13 mini though and will for another 2 years or so. If at that time the base iPhone has 90 hz or higher refresh rate (which under ALL reasonable circumstances they must have), then I'll likely get the 2025 iPhone 17. If they still insist on using a 60 hz display in 2025, I am going to make this the sticking point. I will boycott everything Apple. I will switch to Samsung or Google or whatever maker impresses me. I will tell all my friends and family to avoid Apple like the plague. Apple is a trillion dollar company and the only way to stop their excess is to fight back.

So true. I have a 12 mini and I am actually quite satisfied with it. I love the form factor. Even though yes the battery percentage has dropped to 82% but I am still managing to use it over the day and for my usage, the battery life is quite decent. I was thinking about getting the regular 15 but the 60hz display and overall the form factor kind of discouraged me. I love the Samsung Galaxy S23 and I was thinking about getting that but unfortunately invested in the apple ecosystem so that kind of makes me reconsider switching to Android. I guess for now I will stick to my 12 mini but perhaps wait for another year or two to see what Apple has to offer.
