My last iphone was 12pro Max and just upgraded to 15 pro Max from s23 ultra. Really like it. Big upgrade from 12pro Max and like the camera much more than s23 ultras. I was hesitating between s24 ultra but after having s23 ultra for a year decided to go back to iphone. No regrets.

I don’t know what they did with the 13 pro max, but that thing definitely set a standard for battery life. 3 years later, everyone is still catching up to its level it was at in 2021. Hope the 16 series bring an incredible boost in battery life like the 13s did

Iphone 16 is an even number iphone, it will be bad, 17 is the one to go for Apple always releases the best iphones on odd numbers, i.e iphone 7, iphone 11, iphone 13 while the worst ones are always even number i.e iphone x, iphone 12, iphone 14 they always have a problem

hello, I wanted to ask you some questions about the Iph15 PM, if you want to answer me, I'm also debating whether to take it or not...does it overheat? does the titanium frame scratch easily or does the back break or bend? there are so many complaints on the internet as if it is the weakest model built since the iPhone... theoretically it could fix the overheating only through an update reducing the performances, otherwise it is impossible, as if you were trying to fix the disaster caused by a bomb in Nagasaki by update

Got the 15 Pro Max last weekend. Came from 13 Pro Max. Pretty lateral move for the most part, I do like some of the newer things like Dynamic Island and the always-on display. But overall it’s a fine phone, although I could have just as easily waited for something even more substantial.

Now that these iPhones have all of this power, it’s time they go big on the next iOS update. We need split screen multitasking and the ability to customize app icons and etc. Now is the time because people aren’t going to notice anything different later this year when comparing the a17 pro to a18 pro. It’ll be the same as when people compared the a17 pro to the a16.

Not sure situation where u are but 15 series seems to be flooding the second hand market my area. So guess either the scalpers know the hype is over or the phone seems to meet with some issues. Don’t get me wrong theres always some issue with the first batch but I don’t really see the 15 had a lot going on till the whole usb C hype

yeah, I've got the 15PM and the 24+ and the Pixel 8 Pro...I love my 15PM, but I get bored with it pretty quickly. Even though the Apple CarPlay experience is so consistant vs the Android Auto. I just can't get into it. I wish you didn't have a home page full of apps and widgets. I wish the animations were quicker. Quicker scrolling etc. I just get tired of it after a couple days of use, have to call my service provider to swap the sim back to my 24+...Maybe iOS 18 will fix things for me...let's hope! Because I love the phone! It's build is fantastic, feels great in hand, very similar to the 24+, only a little heavier. I like the P8P too but it can heat up when charging, it's bigger than the iPhone and Sammy.

Hello The overheating was been fixed in a software update since release, and yes the back glass can break, and titanium can scratch, but if you're buying an over 1000 quid phone, you'd be silly not to put a case on it Hope this helps :)

I'm curious as a user. How much battery life do you really need? Some of these phones get 7 to 10 hours screen on time... do people really still have anxiety about running out of battery for a day? Or is it they just don't ever want to put it on a charger.

@formetoknow540 10 hours screen on time each day is a lot of time on the phone. When I get 4, I think it's hefty. I appreciate the battery life when I'm on a flight... because im lock into my device. But I don't feel battery anxiety from new age phones at all. But I suppose the more the better. I just charge every night. Usually when I get to 30% I can find time to put it on a charge for 30 min somewhere. Car, house, work... then it's back to 80 or so if i dont fill it...and another 6 hours plus or so til empty. I'm just curious of the real world usages that requires more than 10 hours of screen on time per day without access to charging. I keep hearing people say more battery life would be nice... I don't quite connect with that request with the newer phones.

I upgraded from a base iphone 12 and i always thought that the Pro features for me wasnt worth the investment but recently because of my work I needed more battery and storage so i got the pro max to try it and ohh boy the difference with battery life is on another level finally i don’t have to be so worry for the phone not get full day battery with the iphone 12 almots had to charged it 2 times per day depending of the usage of course. With the 15 Pro max almost 2 days of battery when i dont use it a lot. in heavy usage i wake up 5:40am and the 15 pro max get me till 10:30pm when i go to sleep with 40% of battery

Do you charge your iphone to 100%? Heard that this habit doesn’t affect the battery health.. I do not let it charge overnight. I always charged til 80%, should I keep charging till at 80% or 100% ?

Idk if iphone has any of these settings, but my s24u fast charges to 80%, then it's a mixture to 100%. When it hits 100% it stops charging (with it still plugged in). If the battery drops below 95% it will charge it back up to 100%. I heard what really hurts the battery is the heat when charging. I've always just done up too 100%. I think you'll see the battery degrade over years of use anyways. It's just the nature of electronics.

Maintaining your phone's charge at 80% only consumes 0.2 cycles, compared to the 1 cycle consumed at 100%. By doing so, you can preserve your battery health up to 5 times longer. It's a simple adjustment with significant benefits.

Charging the phone to 80% consumes only 0.2 cycles, while charging to 100% consumes 1 cycle. So, if you consistently charge the battery to 80%, its capacity will degrade to 80% after 5000 charges, compared to just 1000 charges if you always charge to 100%.

I upgraded to the 15 PM from a 12 Pro. Definitely worth it. My battery life is insane, I can go 2 days with mild use and be at about 40%. I agree that the experience hasn’t changed at all, it is exactly the same. But I have invested into everything Apple and quite frankly, I’m not leaving. I assist my coworkers with their Samsung and Pixel phones and I find that I really can’t stand them for numerous reasons.

Nah that’s the new Dimensity chip phones and OnePlus. Battery and benchmark test got them in the 60+ degree range. The 15 Pro Max is at about 42

If the AI capabilities are tied to the chip upgrade then the 15 probably wont receive AI…which is tragic on Apples behalf.
