Per pixel, Genshin is still more demanding than ZZZ. The native resolution for Highest in genshin is, after v4.7, 810p. However, this is running at 1010 - 200 more than Genshin.
Genshin is an open world, this isn't, this is more demanding lol, but zzz has way more assets running on screen and much better animation, so that takes a lot
i think my genshin impact is running better even on native resolution on ipad gen 10 but when i run zzz resolution look not like native it like lower than FHD. it look blurry than genshin impact
9:41 I think that fps getting reduce is intentional because it’s only happens in Assist or in Error 404 not in combat mode. When assist happen & we become slow , It correlates with our device to give us more realistic feeling that we become slow & so our fps cause lore wise , we are watching this fight through a TV . Error 404 (moment before combat starts) is also get drops to give us that buffering feeling This is something I notice in Honkai impact 3 (another Hoyo game) Where the combat is in 120 fps but if there is a ingame cutscene , it reduces itself to 90 to 60 fps
I wish you test the 15pro max with cooler in a strong games like resident evil village or warzone mobile at highest setting and see if it worth to buy a cooler 🙏🏻
Performance Depends on where you are in the game. Lumina city is heavier than sixth Street, but the heaviest area is the tower with the twin marionette in the last story mission (so far)
"Unlike Genshin Impact" - kek, what??? ZZZ runs a lot better than Genshin on M4. Neither runs 120 FPS smoothly anyway but ZZZ at least doesn’t lag nearly as much as Genshin sometimes can even at 60. Another huge issue that happens to everyone is that Apple introduced a massive bug with ProMotion in iOS 16.1 that keeps randomly dropping FPS on any settings in any game/app. It happens nonstop in Genshin, but you’ve avoided it by using a controller as it does not happen on controllers but absolutely does if using fingers (and has been happening for years now). There’s a video of it on RU-vid in Genshin, and it happens on all post 16.1 devices (tested 4 M2s and 4 M4 units over a long period). Apple in their usual way acknowledged this in Nov 2022 and then did nothing to fix it.

I'm really sick of these sub 1080p resolution games, be it genshin, HSR, ZZZ.. we have never seen any game running on native 1080p even though phones are capable enough to play it. Such a locking system really pisses me off.
