XR a bit laggy these days, safari taking a while to open. Been a really reliable phone though, had for about 5 years or so.

Okay so I wasn’t tripping. My XR was lagging very badly the last few weeks then I just decided to upgrade to the 15. My XR is in mint condition but I think the recent update, iOS 17 made it slow… forcing me to upgrade.

I think I’ll hold on to my XR for a little longer. It works fantastically, but the only issue i have with it is the camera quality

Currently looking for a new iphone after having my Xr since it came out in 2018 making that 8 years and its only now that ive begun to have problems with my xr which is the reason I’m looking for a new phone and I’m really considering getting the iPhone 15 out of all the iPhone 15 types

@@HoRiZoN- i never had that issue. My only issue is battery is not that good to be honest. If i watch youtube shorts for 2 hours, my battery goes down from 60 to 25 or something like that. Which is not really good tbh.

I have the XR and i think that the XR is really reliable, but the thing is. The battery life will decrease quickly after you've owned it for a while.

Just went last week frok Iphone XR to 15 Pro.. well night and day difference, however is it worth it 1k extra (assuming you dont sell your XR)? Hell no, XR is livable. I would have used it for 1 more year if did not needed second phone

I don’t know what he’s talking about with “15 doesn’t have a sim tray.” I watched the salesman remove the SIM card from my XR and pop it into the 15. Near the bottom of the phone near under the volume buttons.

15 is a really good update, especially since xr has lcd display with massive bezels and is capped at 600 nits of brightness, the 15 is oled with dynamic island and has up to 2000 nits of brightness outside which is super useful and is 1000 nits typical, the screen on the 15 is way brigther and higher res so its much better in the bright sun

I have an xr but today I went to the apple store and bought a 15 plus, I wanted the pro max and had the money for it but my friend recommended me not to get it. She claims I don’t take alot of pictures and I would save a few hundred dollars. I still wanted the pro max, I wanted the best fastest phone. But either way, its still a huge upgrade from the xr, so Ill just deal with it and see how things go. Hope I made a good decision.

idk I feel like for 800 there are better phones than the iPhone 15 in that price range , they held back a lot from the pro model this year. plus tax the regular 15 comes out to about 930 and if you get the 256 gigs its like 1100. at that price range of 1k I think you might as well get the Pro Max for 1300 for the 256 model because like me , you seem like the type to not upgrade for at least 5 years so why not get the best of the best of that year to last you much longer etc. its the reason why I got the XR and not the X in 2018. I'm thinking about keeping my XR for one more year but it is starting to show its age especially with video editing apps that I use to edit and render videos with my XR. its still fast enough for most things but just not that. since apple will support the XR until early 2025 I might as well keep it for one more year idk my battery is at 75% . ill see what I do . enjoy your new Iphone regardless from XR to 15 is a good time to upgrade.

The IPhone 15 pro max isn’t just “better pictures” it has a way better processor with a better gpu so you can play games. And also it’s 120hz compared to 60hz so your scrolling experience would have been 10x better.

my XR just broke now. screen issue. but I can just pay for a cheap replacement repair. But I really need a phone with high storage coz of my 360 videos. but I also really want that samsung foldable phone.😅😅. Is it worth buying an iphone 15. IOS version are just the same. still got ios 17 in my XR.

the problem with the xr is it has 3gb of ram, now adays way way too litle ram, devices with 3 gb of ram just close apps and browsers constantly and lag, 15 has twice the ram, 6 gb of ram should be standard in 2024 for ios considering andriods have 8 gb minimum
