@@TibialPlace wdym this is literally what everybody has been wanting, a design change apple changes phone design: ew it looks so ugly apple doesnt change phone design: grr it so boring
Eh actually I’ve still got the 12 plus and havent had any interest in getting any of the other iphones until I heard the next one might be thin. As a bloke I find it really annoying to try and fit everything in my pocket. Big ass phone, keys, wallet, lighter/smokes. Too much. Anything that is lighter and thinner is gonna make that much easier.
@@mrluwin5054dont want to. I’ll get a thin phone instead and dont have to lug one around. Bags are a pain in the ass, gotta put em down somewhere and hope they dont get knicked, they bounce around at stuff like concerts or pubs when youre dancin. If I can keep everything in my pockets more comfortably, I will.
They usually plan in advance I wouldn’t be surprised, however i don’t believe it’s real, this one seems super not in line with Apple design: it’s weird, impractical, looks extremely off putting
I LOVE this. It solves the camera rocking issue when you set it down, makes Dynamic Island less disruptive, and finally, has a more durable screen, but WHY ON EARTH DO WE NEED A THINNER iPHONE??!?
we need to push one way, and that is slimmer. But honestly, the 14 Pro thickness is perfect for me, without a case it actually feels like a slab of technology. Almost like holding a glass panel. Honestly think we've peaked at design and looks, only thing now is no bezels, and a camera hole like the one on the slim.
I feel like bending shouldn’t be a problem if you treat the phones right, I collect old phones and get many iPhone 6/6 Plus and none of them have bent.
@@Wholesome-j8tNo. The galaxy flip is very useful and modern. And in reality no one wants a phone like 17 slim because the battery doesn't last long. It's doomed to fail
@@AndreVictorGoncalvesYou’ve already said this on another comment, you must be desperate to tell everyone! 😂 And the reason Android needs so much RAM is they can’t manage it as well as Apple.
@@AndreVictorGoncalves If Geekbench 6 results mean anything in real life, the iPhone 15 Pro Max very handily tops the scores of the Nubia Red Magic 85+ Pro despite having ⅓ the RAM. Various reviewer have cited thevery average software performance of the Nubia Red Magic device.
If it happen it will be great to see that slim design with top cameras in linear design..❤❤❤ Many people love slim design with linear camera arrangements
With the phone this slim, I doubt that it will withstand extensive use and heavy gaming without overheating. Theres not enough room for the cooling mechanism to fit in the Slim
I never liked the look of Android cameras, and I use an Android myself. I'm thinking about getting an iPhone soon, but the camera design is just.. eEeHhH
man you guys are idiots, it isnt an android, you know how many different looking android phones there are? and no this doesnt really look like any current android phone, kinda reminds me of a nexus 6p tbh.
iPhone 15 Pro Max has 8GB of ram. Also, the camera array of the rumored 17 Slim would not work for the Vision Pro in Landscape orientation. It’s unlikely you could only use that feature in portrait.
What's the point? Smaller display, easier to bend/break, and no other aesthetic or functional feature to differentiate it as a better choice than previous models. Who cares if it's thin?
I honestly have faith, the iPad is surprisingly strong for having so much leverage and being the same thickness. So I'd guess it wont break like the 6 series.
I honestly like that camera layout a lot. The Google Pixel did something similar if I’m remembering correctly and I really liked it then, too. I’m not too keen on the slim aspect though, seeing as that could easily damage battery life, processing power and more. I hope, if all of this is true, that Apple has really geared up for the change. If they haven’t done that by now, it’ll be the iPhone 6 all over again. We all remember how that went and I don’t think anyone wants a rerun of the same disaster, especially for the much more monstrous price tag.
1:44 iPhone 15 Pro Max also has 8 GB RAM. That's why it will support Apple Intelligence. 15 and 15 Plus have 6 GB RAM but you specifically showed 15 Pro Max.
It would be a shame to call it Slim or Air. Rather they should call it Ultra. Here’s the whole iPhone 17 lineup: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Plus, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Ultra
The 17 Air will correspond to the then-6.3” (currently 6.1” display). There will be a 7.2” model with a larger display which will correspond to the then-6.9” (currently 6.7” model).
0:28 I thought "not slimmer than the iPod nano 7th, surely not". I googled, the 7th gen iPod nano is 5.4mm and is impressively slim but its also small....I really dont see how they could make a full-size iPhone at 5mm thickness and not have it bend.
Apple Inc. used to make slimmer iPhones like the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 11. Until they re-introduced the thicker iPhones starting with iPhone 12. Why can't they bring back the slimmer iPhone models again?
If the iPhone 17 comes with a very thin design, it might require the removal of Face ID. Face ID technology needs additional components like the front camera and depth sensors, which could impact the ability to make the device extremely thin. However, this is just a hypothesis, and there could be new technologies that allow for maintaining Face ID in a slim design
I would actually like it to be Titanium though. I know 15 Pro has had overheating issues probably because of Titanium, but if it’s that slim and it’s aluminum there is a chance this becomes bendgate 2.0
The reason iphones never have a centered camera is because the front camera and FaceID sensors are all located there, this is consistent with any other phone manufacturers where if they do have a centered camera, it's usually not all the way at the top or the front camera is moved to the side. Therefore having a centered camera bump with three 48MP sensors along with a 24MP sensor at the front all at the top center is physically impossible to accomplish even with Apple's resources especially with the 5mm thickness.
