The reason why the mini series didnt sell well because of the battery capacity. It would have been a hit if they just put a battery with a higher capacity
@@75sRaxBro your just used to the media selling you phones with bigger screens, the mini has the perfect side only if you really have problematics with your vision everything else is preference.
@@elisatsubasa9671 i don’t have small hands so i’ve only used the bigger iphones. i used the 7 plus and then the 14 since it has an edge to edge display
iPhone 15 plus owner here. I purchased because I wanted color and battery life. Don’t really need all the extra tech or cameras and wanted to stay under 1000. There wasn’t enough of an upgrade to the pro max to give up the pink
@@Chipndales Just a bit laggy. I will get a second hand iPhone XR soon, (budget lol) and I'll see if it makes a difference. I just don't like the single 12mp camera cause its LACKing lol
@@Netherite0_0 XR is kinda meh. The 13 seems to be holding up really well still even with the software. I had my back glass and screen replaced on my old one and honestly the only upgrade I experienced was color and size. The camera island is not obstructive.
I love my iPhone 15 plus . All I use it for is Google ,Facebook, RU-vid, eBay, and as a phone . The bigger screen is nice because I don’t see as good as I used to. I looked at the pro max , but didn’t really need the extra options. I like the aluminum frame of the plus and longer battery life . The camera is not as good as the pro , but I’m color blind, so I can’t tell any difference anyway. The 15 plus was definitely the right choice for me .
You’re not missing much. I went with the 15 Plus too. The camera, realistically, is only better if you actually use the features. I don’t even fully utilise the 15 Plus’s camera. I like the big screen as you said, and the battery life is great. There’s not much reason for me to want a 15 Pro Max. It’s just a heavier version of a 15 Plus, with a couple extra features which are really only beneficial for actual pro users.
@lime-animates-2763 every company that comes on top will choose the apple route, it's inevitable i mean imagine xiaomi being the best phone on the market, what will they do? Bcome hypocritical
I have the iPhone 14 Plus and it’s 2 day lasting battery, I swear to god it’s more of a curse. It lasts so long I straight up forget to charge it, and when I get a notification saying it’s on 10% i just think well it’s gonna last another 40 minutes anyway so why charge it now

@@sunilnathani3924this entire comment is insane. Samsung and Google doesn’t even have half of the features you listed. They removed it all just like Apple you hypocrite lmao
@@sunilnathani3924 for the most part youre right but SD cards are purely obsolete, headphone jacks are removed by every phone, samsung doesnt include chargers, there is an internet radio, esims are objectively better than physical sims, the dynamic island is better than the samsung punchole which delivers no functionality and has worse face recognition.
Watching this on my iphone 15 plus and the battery is good there’s no complaints from my side. I just charge my phone only once a day and it lasts till the end of the day
I am personally very happy with and most attracted to the iPhone 12 Mini and 13 Mini. Their size makes me decide to buy the iPhone 13 Mini. However, the main problem is the battery capacity, which makes the iPhone Mini unreliable.

We only need 3 Line up iPhones with 3 different sizes and they should be SE - 5.4 with 1 rear camera to get space for larger Battery (a minimal phone we needed) Regular iPhone - 6.4 display (size in between) iPhone Pro - 6.9 display (a real Pro for it's size)
There is no way to place the Pro series camera module in a 5.4" body. For the current Pro series with a 6.1 body, the camera module takes up almost half of the body, remember that the battery also needs enough space to place it.
@@afiqazizi8426 I mean, they did it with the iPhone 13 Mini which is basically just the iPhone 13 Pro without the telephoto camera. I honestly wouldn't care if they didn't include the third lens, I just want the lightar scanner because of an accessibility feature called Point Speak, I'm blind, so of course the third camera wouldn't do much for me.
It wouldn’t sell well. The biggest problem was its battery capacity. A mini iPhone can’t have a good battery life because it’s too small, and adding a pro motion display to it and the 3 camera lens will make the battery life even more worst.
Just like Google, when they kill off the Fitbit support, they’ll replace all of the Fitbit watches and fitness trackers, with the new Pixel 3 watches and stuff, and plus, these new watches will have a permanent home for Fitbit features, in which the users will have to require their own Fitbit and Google accounts too.
although i am way more used to using bigger phones, i've become accustomed to using the 6.1 iphones since i got my 11 so i will be picking the regular 15 over the plus one for my upgrade. there's no additional perks aside from the screen size and battery life so i wouldn't really bother, and at that price i should just stretch it a bit more and get the regular size pro model.
I'll stand with the plus models. I just like the bigger screen, not interested in features of the pro that I know I will never use. Bought my 15 plus in May and if 16 plus will likely be the last plus model, I will get that in 3-4 years instead of the flagship of the moment.
I don't know why they always make plus, pro and pro Max versions instead of making only the simple model and the pro Max so it would be easier for people which one to choose and therefore you don't spend on something that doesn't have quality.
Thanks. Very informative. Never really understood the iPhone models or how what parameters to use to get a proper comparison. I found the part on PRICING and UP SELLING very useful. 21 July 2024..
Honestly, they should really keep the plus and make the normal a tad bit smaller so they have more of a "mini" and a larger option I don't like apple products personally. I'm on a tablet on command (Z FOLD 6)
I remember when they called the iPhone 15 “ Ultra” and it was all cap at then end XD, but anyways the plus models are still really great phones having better battery life than the pro max phones
This too. Aluminum is weaker and therefore less premium than titanium, but it is lighter, so it does go along with Apple’s game plan to make all their devices thinner and lighter again. We’re still early on into the rumor mill though, things could still change. Maybe the ‘aluminum’ rumor is pertaining to the internal chassis of the Slim, since the current Pro iPhones are titanium only on the outside but have an aluminum frame.. time will tell!
Aluminum is better. It is less brittle than titanium so better at shock absorption and heat soaking. Shoud I also mention the titanium phones is a 99%-aluminum-1%-titanium alloy?
@@Drewcardello Thanks! Not gonna lie that I'm not an expert when it comes to metallurgy but isnt it a concern that a planned iPhone 5 mm in width made of aluminum will bend on day one?
I have the iPhone 13 mini, I bought it in March 2022, recently got the battery replaced with a new one, because I just can’t see myself buying a huge size normal iPhone or the Pro Max. Rip to the people with tiny hands like me (apart from the iPhone SE models)
tbh i love mini iphones, and i loved when samsung still did phones with normal size i mean iphone 15 and samsung s24 plus are great but whats the defferent to carry a phone and a tablet? 😭
The 1st generation SE was my favorite. It fit my hand like a glove, in fact, I could operate it with one hand and bought twins. Apple went back to that design afterwards. Love the design of my 11 pro max and the size of the screen, but, it would be the perfect phone if it had the same thickness. still in stainless steel, but with the boxed design
Been using the 13PM, then I upgraded to the 12Mini. I love the small aluminum body, great camera, will still be updated, battery life lasts about 7hrs of continuous usage playing videos, it’s plenty of time I need for a battery. I like the small phone a lot especially on long walks and working out
Never buying a new iPhone again unless it’s a mini. Got my 13 mini future proofed with max specs. Was already annoyed removing the SIM card and touchID. Would rather switch over to motorola Razr+ than get a big iphone.
I pay little attention to what they propose, because when they promote a device, it,often doesn’t live up to their promises. I purchased an iPadPro 12.9 and it worked fine until recently when I noted that its battery life had diminished significantly, to less that half of its initial battery life. Assuming that the battery was malfunctioning, I checked into the Apple Store, and connected with an Apple Tech. After a few minutes of his diagnosis he determined that the short battery life was due to “being on RU-vid too long, stating that the enhanced resolution of RU-vid was causing a faster decay of battery life”. I responded to him, stating, “then I assume the iPad Pro wasn’t Pro enough to handle the higher resolution’s of Pro Apps”. I now advise all who will listen, do not use iPad Pro 12.9 or higher for any Pro level Applications. I’m a little curious how using its “LIDAR” whistle & Bells would last?
I'm using 14 plus yellow Glitter looking, Big Screen & Awesome Battery 🔋 ❤ i charge after 2 - 3 days only.. really a Big relief thing for any iphone user..
I never like small phone. I still prefer bigger phone. I just bought 15 Pro Max last month and i was happy with my choice. The best phone ive ever had so far! I will upgrade my phone when 17 or 18 is out.
I think the most enoying fact about phones is camera that sticks out from the phone. If they will incorporate it (inside) would be elegant and easier to use!
I think this new ultra will be more expensive and slim because it uses apple silicon m series. They were able to achieve a insane thin form factor on the iPad pro by using Apple silicon m series. This could be a sign we could get m chips in our top of the line iPhones!!!!
As a gamer and a 15pro max user, I only care about speed and performance. So I’ll always go for the most performant weather it’s the most expensive or not, weather it has the best or the worst camera
Ngl after getting a 15 Pro, I showed it to a bunch of friends with a pro max and they all think the pro is a better size to actually use. The Pro Max is just a flex at the end of the day
iPhone 15 and 15+ still don't have a 120hz refresh rate and not worth it...I think this year doesn't have that feature on iPhone 16 and 16+ because Apple company never change it

I hope Apple releases its own phone carrier called "Apple Wireless" and their new A18 chip and the pro and and the max chip that can lead to more Apple Intelligence.
iPhones went from budget friendly to extremely expensive Older iPhone killed with little to not available software update (not eligible) I still have IPhone SE it works good for as long its software can still be updated
I want the normal sized pro model but with longer battery life. I have a 13 pro and need 120-150% of capacity every day. Every year the new pro model has just the same battery life as the previous pro. 2-3h more would be needed. I would like to stay at the screen size of the pro but make it some mm thicker to accommodate a little more capacity.
the mini was a superior phone in many ways especially in the feel in hand way. The real optmal thinness is the iPhone 5S. If they had a thin but completly full screen that was be perfect for reading and using apps and good enough for light video. The smallest phone will be a hit with people with small hands like women and people who just want to keep the one handed use and people who read and browse social media and not do video all that much. I think there is a market if the battery life was good enough
Didn’t they turn away from the slim phones because of the easy destruction of them? What are they gonna do to make the 17 to make it stronger and reduce the risk of easy to bend chassis?
I’m honestly just keeping my 13 pro max until at least next year maybe even longer. It just does everything I want from a phone now. I’ll replace the battery at some point so it’ll be like new again.
It wouldn’t have been possible considering how small the mini was they would’ve had to make some compromises to fit the larger battery and Apple is all about making profit so I don’t think they would’ve traded power for a larger battery which ultimately caused the downfall of a mini iPhone the closest thing we have is the se which is in my opinion a better bargain then the mini anyways
Why can't phones be small again? It was designed for convenience, not a massive piece of metal. If I want a tablet, I'll get one, I don't want anything bigger.
I don’t think slim iPhone would be great, since there are content creator that focus is to check the durability of every phone. So yeah (it’s just my opinion)
