Funny to see this vide 4 years later and the iphone 4 is obsolete

Even though it's old now in 2014 I still can't wait to get it

I went from a 3G to a 4, and I couldn't be happier. After waiting 3 long weeks for it to come, I spent almost an hour just comparing how sharp the new screen is. The HD video is gorgeous and the pictures are too. Great phone and a steal at $199.

Back when I was so excited to get a new phone. It felt like Christmas eve when one launched. The shopping for accessories, the wait in lines at the Apple store, meeting interesting people, people configuring their phones in the lot and the one guy or gal who drops their brand new phone out the store, being amazed at the jump in revolutionary technology with each release, the message boards, Good Times Now, eh, new phone, setup and use, then on to the next one.

The 3GS is IMO one of the best looking iPhones ever, and you can pick one up now in great condition for 30 bucks. Shut up and take my money.

not a fair comparison on the app open seeds. he has the 4 on airplane mode, which prevents the phone from searching for service in the background, making everything faster.

Very good review. I am glad I'm going from a 3GS straight to the 4S, I love my 3GS but I'm looking forward to play with the new phone. Do you know if the front sensor (above upper speaker) is in the same spot and is the same size? I'm hoping to be able to use a iP4 case for the 4S and there's a slight difference in the cases. Looking back at the phone now. 3gs is HIDEOUS lol. I have the 5s now. The 5s looks very good, but it doesn't live up to my exception and my daily use. Also the 5s freeze and crash often while using Google apps. I also have the Galaxy S3, opt not to get the S4 because the S5 is coming out soon.

I agree somewhat. See I have 2 3gs (one broke) and recently upgraded to the 4. I've been using the 3gs now for over 2+ years and I have to say, though it does lag on certain modern apps, it has been a great all rounder. but as the jump from 3 to 4, I feel it has an enormous difference. The speed IS in fact much faster as it has yet to show me any sort of lag or slow down. and though the 4 is made of glass, it is in fact much more reliable than you think. Plus retina, front cam, etc

@sonic3243 I'll have to try that... If that doesn't work I might just upgrade to a 4s and there isn't anything wrong with them. Mine was fine until I updated it to iOS 5. Now it's sooo freakin slow.

how can you compare the speed of hte phones like that?? the 3gs one is looking for a network (iphone 4 is on airplane mode), the bluetooth is on and you have a lot more app's on the 3gs. It's not accurate for me
