Matthias Bastron I watched some of the scope cam video he filmed and its Ok, just OK. The gun sounded pretty crap and he seemed to shake around a lot. To make it appear better than it is, would take some careful editing and sound dubbing, which is why a lot of sniper videos have music added.

Glad you enjoyed the video and the photos. I used to edit out the parts with me taking photos, but now I think its better to show that all my photos are real, taken in action, not staged, using a green screen, in an office, then photoshopped to the hilt. Which is how most Airsoft magazine photos are done.

People can hate on this sport or compare it to Paintball, but seriously all in all, it circulates money, promotes and keeps the business alive, but most of all, it gets you off your arse and active. At the end of the day you feel satisfied. Running around with a little extra weight and gear is keeping you fit, a game console doesn't do that. So good on them.

Scotland is fairly cold compared to other places, usually under 25 degrees. Then again I'm from Hong Kong where its 35 degrees Celsius and 100% humidity where everyones drenched in sweat after just one game.

Robert L. Depends on the FPS, I have an M59A sniper that is 330fps however I use .50g bullets so it's slightly slower.

Robert L. Possibly, I would need to lean it on something though. The bb pellet could reach there without too much spread, but that does rely on wind speed + direction. Don't forget normal bullets aren't that heavy either.

I see. Yes but what matters is the weight of the bullet in the relation to the size. And since real bullets are usually made of lead, they are not that much effected by wind.

Orio Cohen you would be surprised the idea is to have lights and darks, and not all the same exact or nearly same color. You want to break up into as many shapes as possible so the optical illusion seems more real from a distance he could easily look like some flowers on a bush or some moss growing.

seriously i live in the US and I live in the east coast of the US and there is no damn airsoft places that even have remotly close to 100 people..paintball of course is huge with liek 400 people at a time, but screw paintball

So you need to open an Airsoft site, its a money making business waiting for you or someone in your area to start. If a paintball site near you can run with 400 people, then at least 100 of them will have seen airsoft videos and want to play it $$$$$

Jeffery Lloyd Yeah we have heard that from all American visitors. All have said that the games here in Scotland are on a very different level to those in the USA, for game play and player honesty. It's strange because over the years, players here looked forward to visiting the USA and playing at sites there. So far, the few who have played in the USA while on vacation, returned very disappointed, maybe they just played at the wrong sites.

For some it's not so much for recording as much as visualizing. Viewing a digital screen with greater scale is helpful for those with visual impairments. I don't know the guy but it could have been the case.

I notcied you guys only wear glasses, and was wondering what a air soft BB feels like if you get hit in the face. I know a paint ball would be unpleasant

+Cory Most people will say that it feels more like a sting when hit by a BB, but there's lots of factors to consider, such as distance the the BB travels before it hits you, FPS of the gun, weight of the BB and weather. A BB hit to the ear on a freezing cold day, results in a lot more swear words than a hit to the same spot on a warm day. Paintball is good fun, but it's past its sell by date, here in Scotland paintball is as good as dead, the affordability of airsoft and the greed of paintball site owners has as good as killed paintball.

The reason they used an iPhone is because it focuses when there is a player in the camera view, and U CANT PUT A GOPRO BEHIND OR INFRONT OF A SIGHT AND EXPECT TO MAGICALLY SEE THROUGH IT LOL. it's common sense, think first ;)

dame scout I started playing airsoft like three months ago and by far your videos are the cleanest and most action packed honestly your videos are why I got into airsoft in the first place thanks for the inspiration brotha oh and I just got a king arms ghk gbb do you know if that's a good gun I got it for 150 it also came with an extra mag and a red/green dot sight

Scout, to be honest you may have missed some mighty fine photos of them running through the smoke and firing but I don't know for sure because 1: I have no idea how you filmed and took photos in the first place, 2: the light may not have been good enough to get a good focus on the people through the smoke, and 3: you would've had to have mad reaction time to catch some of them. Still, I absolutely love the video. Keep em coming!

The stills camera struggled to focus on the players as I ran, due to the smoke and the video camera is in the frame a few times. I got at least seven usable photos at that point and one has already appeared on my Facebook page. Glad you enjoy my videos :-)

Actually this is brilliant, I don't know if it's only for recording purpose but, with this Iphone looking for you through the scope you don't have to close an eye to aim and you keep a pretty good peripheral vision while aiming (I hope it's how it's called.) And (still while aiming) it's great to switch between targets quickly or to see an incoming danger faster.

Great videos as always Scout! Quick question though, I notice a good bit of the players (aside from snipers) use the iron sights in their guns. Is this just personal preference or due to close combat? Thanks for reading and keep the videos up. Good job as always!

Most of them just do not own a scope & they are not always looking down the iron sites, most are just aiming by watching where the BBs are going. Thank you for watching & commenting.

We do get the odd cheat, but we have lots of games marshals who will deal with any cheating, in short if a player cheats and its confirmed they are out of the game, if they return and cheat again, they may well be banned from the site, forever, this makes players think twice about cheating.
