I hate how these videos always seems like they will be about this one specific fix nobody knows about, but it’s always just a list of typical battery saving tips everyone already know…

Thank you! Not sure yet if these things will help, but just updated to iOS 16.4.1 and my battery was draining REALLY fast. My battery is only at 73% capacity. But things were still going fine until I updated. I am hoping this makes things better!! Thanks so much. And I think you did a great job of stepping through all the things pretty quickly and making it really easy to follow!!

The battery thing is so annoying before the iOS 16 update my battery was at 96% after the update goes down to 95% now it's 92%!!

When in Accessibility > Motion, why not limit the Frame Rate to 60? Wouldn't that help?

I have followed the tip on the video about the photo library. I used to be quite happy with my 12pro battery life but since IOS16 I cannot get through the morning. I had even tried to factory reset and start again. But, I have about 16000 photos in my library. I turned off the learn from app and show content in search. Maybe coincidence but today I would say my phone is behaving closer to normal - still a bit down on what I got from ios15 but improved from yesterday.

My iPhone 13 take 17% of battery for recording 20 minutes of video at 4K with 60 fps, Is it normal because i don’t know much about iPhones.

Bro! When i first got the ios 16 beta my battery drained soo fast, then i needed to downgrade it to ios 15 again, Also i have a new iPhone 11, but does the public ios 16 drain as much battery as ios 16 beta?

Captain here: The new iOS 16 is funky. Sure these tips and tricks are helpful to a certain degree but I almost find it comical why one would tone down all those features just to save battery. You've paid top dollar for those features. Try doing this : Might sound stupid but try charging your phone to 100%. This recalibrates your charge cycle. Like I said before the new iOS 16 is funky but the remedy is simple... Flies away....

We will find out. My iPhone battery health went from 95% down to 90% in less than a month, which I find not normal. Thanks!

As I was reading several of the comments regarding this topic and other video remarks as well. I truly believe within today's market economy, the realization within certain markets has gone wild. In essence, a great percentage are operating under the "delusional" effect of producing, and marketing beliefs should equal more money earned and more money should be deserved. Technology can be helpful in certain capacities but also it can cause more harm and debt. Why should APPLE charge anyone for phones ranging from $300 and above? Where is the common denominator in that? I realize many people have no problem purchasing a $1K phone or even a $10K laptop, but why charge so much when at some given point perhaps certain problems will occur. Currently, I have an iPhone 11, and the battery was replaced I believe about a year ago. And the replacement parts for Apple can be somewhat costly. Currently, as of today, the battery is drained with hardly any signal. And I was offered a deal from a provider of an Apple 12. But according to what has been written and researched, it is quite obvious certain models have ongoing problems with 'draining battery usage'. So for me, I am in the process of determining what is the best choice to make.
