BT's very buggy in iOS 17+...just read through Apple's Discussion Forum. Apple knows people are not happy, but have not said when they will address the many BT issues. Many different types of devices have been randomly "un-pairing" or in some cases refusing to pair. It's not clear if it's a hardware/software/firmware problem...stay tuned.
This helped me get iphone to connect with my Knox gear sound system. I would switch the mode on Knox to Bluetooth, but l hadn’t tried holding the mode button down while pairing. Weird thing is, l had this system paired with my iPhone previously many times but it would not appear in my BT device list or pair starting about a month ago. Anyway, thank you! Am horrible with tech since had a TIA abt 4 yrs ago, and the easiest things sometimes do not occur to me now but this got me going again. 👍👍
@@havefaith730No solution really, it just suddenly worked. But I think if you have tried everything and bluetooth still doesn’t work, you have to get a new phone.
I think this video was a good review. Very practical problems with easy fixes. How about connecting bluetooth headphones to TV? Maybe you can create a video on that subject?

Thank you very much. Being an olden and a technophobe I found this a great help. I’ve had my iPad 10th generation for a couple of months and decided to use my headphones. Very confused until I googled. No earbud jack! Now will have to buy Bluetooth earphones. At least I now know I’m not going mad! 😂
I just turned off/on my iPhone 12 Mini and tried to connect to my iPad Air 2 . Now it says the iPad is NOT supported!!!!!!! IOS 16 broke my Bluetooth connection to my iPad! Any fixes?
I got just got iPhone 13 Pro and I couldn’t get it to connect to my headphone. Thanks for this advice, I was able to pair it after I try the press and hold the headphone pairing for 5 seconds and bam! Got it to work.
I have a problem when I want to use the same headphone on my iPhone and iPad. I have to remember to turn off Bluetooth on one before the other device will attempt to connect to them. That, of course, disconnects all Bluetooth and I have to connect the headphones on the other device before restarting Bluetooth on the first device to reconnect everything else. Is there a simpler way? Could I write a shortcuts macro to do this?
After an hour of frustration I held the power button on my headphones slightly longer and it said ‘ready to pair’ 🙌🏻 thanks so much for your help…… I’d reset my network, restarted my phone, updated my software and I was flat out of ideas until I saw this

All of this and it still doesn’t work. It keeps saying it’s unsuccessful and to “turn your Bluetooth device on and make sure it’s in range. Is it js something wrong with my phone? I really hope I didn’t waste my money
Holy cow! Thank you!!! I was unfamiliar with pairing mode! I have an iPhone 14 that I’ve have for almost a year, and now for the first time ever, I’ve got it to pair with my little Sony speaker!
That said, over the last 11 months it connected EFFORTLESSLY to EVERY OTHER DEVICE ON THE PLANET ; my neighbors up the street TV sound bar, somebody on my blocks Beats, and 4 monitors at work.
Excellent, my Sennheiser headphones wouldn’t connect with the new IOS 17 even though they have been paired, watched the first bit of your video about pairing and the red and blue light flashing, tried it and the light flashed red and blue (lost the instructions so didn’t have a clue how to pair) and it worked, now good to go, cheers boys, from James in England 👍🏻
Hey that was a lucid video. However I seem to have a unique problem. Till last week my iPhone 13 used to connect with my BMW iDrive 7 flawlessly. Suddenly last Thursday incoming and outgoing call stopped being heard, that is no volume. I can hear the calling party but my voice wouldn't go through. If I called someone, I cant hear the ringing and again the opposite party cant hear my voice. Music streaming from Apple music still works fine. Any thoughts? Thanks is advance.

I have no idea how I finally did it but my hearing aids lost connection to Bluetooth. I have no idea how I got them paired. I couldn't tell you how the heck I managed it but after two days I finaly got them connected!!!!! 😂
I think we should also consider that what you are trying to connect, may already be connected to something else. In my case, my earbuds would not connect to my telephone because it was connected to my laptop. I had to disconnect my laptop.

My iphone 7's Bluetooth connects with wireless earbuds but when trying to send a file my Bluetooth does pair but once i try to send the file it'll always be unsuccessful 😢

Even though my BT speaker is on the list of Bluetooth items, they fail to connect. I have to forget and reinstall the BT speaker every single time I want to use it! My old iPhone 7plus connects automatically but the iPhone 11 plus doesn’t. Seems like a step backward! 😵💫

I just got a new pair of Bluetooth headphones from 5 and below. The bass jaux. It has never been paired. The headphones will go into pairing mode, meaning it's flashing blue and red, and my iPhone will register the headphones, but when I press it to pair, it says the pair is unsuccessful. Help! My iCloud email suddenly started putting all incoming mail into Junk! Mail already in my Inbox had ‘disappeared’ - found it empty one morning & later found it had been moved into Junk. Now if a new message reaches Inbox, it is immediately moved to Junk: I’ve seen it happen 😳. Tried on/off, reset, select & move from Junk to Inbox but even then mail from people in Contacts - and other regular senders - still goes to Junk.
I never had any issues connecting to anything Bluetooth, but now, out of nowhere, my iPhone won’t connect to my pioneer radio, in my car. My husband’s Samsung connects just fine. My iPhone doesn’t even show it under my known devices, where it’s always been, or under unknown devices. It won’t find it. I’ve restarted my phone, multiple times, reset the car radio, multiple times, and even disconnected the car battery. Nothing.

Not only that, my iPhone that is connected to DoorDash and Google Maps/volume will be nonexistent! In other words, there’s no volume, so I have to sit there and stare at my phone to know whether to take a right or left, which is dangerous! I have not done any deliveries because I’m fed up!

Please please do a video about the AIRPLANE MODE. I know all the benefits of it BUT it can DAMAGE your cellular data connector on your phone and your mobile data as well. I am stressing out about this. I thought that airplane mode can’t damage in any way your phone.
I got new mixx ear buds, they both work but they dont both pair. One pairs with my phone and the other with my tablet, I cant get the two to connect at the same time.. Help.. Its not rocket science I connect devices all the time.. What am I doing wrong here
I’ve lost track of how many times i have reseted my iPhone to try and connect my bluetooth headphones. I connected my headphones to my laptop and now it wont connect anywhere else! I unpaired it on my phone and laptop and nothing works. My headphones only have 1 button and its really hard to find a video that doesnt showcase headphones with multiple buttons. Does anyone know a way?
Mine shows up when trying to connect to my car but keeps saying problem connecting turn device off then back on I've done that about a dozen times and it didn't work. I've even tried forgetting the device and setting it up all over again and it didn't work still(btw my phone is a android revvyl v+5g) anyone know how to fix this issue

Upgraded my phone to 15 pro max and now have been trying to pair my s6 watch cellular to my phone it says paired cellular is working fine on watch but now my Bluetooth device list is showing two apple watches and keeps popping up a stupid pairing code on both my devices over and over but wont let me pair using the code because its staying connected to the other watch in Bluetooth device list. Its like its thinking my watch is 2 different watches.. whyyyyy?!?!?!? WHYYYY

If your iPhone 15 Pro is not seeing the bluetooth device, first make sure you try forcing the device into a new paring mode; just did this with a Sonos Move, after trying all the other voodoo stuff, and the phone finally saw it and connected. For some reason, I thought that if my iPad saw the Move, so should my iPhone, but that was not true, since it had never been paired with the Move, even though the new iPhone was set up from my iPhone 13 backup. I'm thinking it's a security thing, duh...
