Thanks for this, I thought Call Recording had came with iOS 18 and I was wondering why I couldn't get the record option shown when making a call. Seems like yet another of the growing list of "not available at launch features" Apple have done this year 🙄

18.1 not out yet. You must mean 18.0.1.

Very helpful 😂 I too was very confused at first as to why I couldn’t record a call on my iPhone 15 after installing the iOS 18 update but like everyone else I didn’t know there was a second part of the iOS 18 which is iOS 18.1. So glad I came across your video it was very spot on and informational . Currently updating to iOS 18.1 now as I’m typing this so thanks 😊 ps: I thought call record came with the phone automatically after updating regular iOS 18 lol. But now i have iOS 18.1 to do call recording so again thumbs up to this video

It seems Apple have blocked iOS 18.1 Beta for iPhone 15 Pro series only. Call Recording is a feature coming to all iPhone's, so I do not understand why that issue has happened.

just ask what you have to hide to not record calls, if it sin public place or dealing with public employees, there is no expectation of privacy so you can record

Yeah, already recommend putting beta on your main device if you have other another device then yeah but on your main device no because these beta be having bugs I stopped doing this a long time ago because my phone will start going crazy and then the Apple Store would have to swap it out for another one so if you don’t wanna go through that aggravation do not do betas on your main phone. If you got one more more than one phone like I do I have five iPhones then that’s finebut one iPhone do not do it
