I am facing the same issue. For indoor lightings, my skin gets darker and over saturated and the background brightens up. Photographic style is standards. Same issue is there for my friends 12 model. I am thinking to exchange this for s22. Any thoughts on this?

iPhone 12 doesnt have photographic styles bro. do check whether any filters applied before taking any picture. within camera app - from the bottom menu you can check filters applying option. remove it and check bro. else perform all settings reset once and check too. settings - general - reset - reset all settings.

im using iphone 15 pro max and the picture on stage shown in video came out exactly like that in my phone too recently in a function. no way to fix it, apple is hopeless in this regard. disappointed
