If they just take the 13 mini and make that into the SE4, I would be happy. update the chip and camera a lil, and boom. Edit: it would also please the group of people who like the smaller iPhone design. Not everyone wants a giant screen.

There's a reason why the current iPhone SE has a home button and an outdated design. It's because some people actually prefer the traditional design, especially people that are not very good at technology like old people

My only suggestion would be to make it bigger to almost match modern day devices. At least 6 inches or 6.1

Gotta be honest, I think the next step is a "backtrack" so to speak. Look at what has happened previously, the SE from 2022 was a large step back in terms of design, screen, etc. The most likely outcome, looking at what has previously happened, the next SE will probably be a reskinned and internally upgraded iPhone XR or similar. With a single camera, utilizing the same chassis, and maybe even the same camera layout.

I highly doubt it will get the a17 chip given that the regular iPhone 15’s only have the a16

Yeah but it wouldn’t make sense for the SE to get the a17 in early 2024 while the iPhone 15 still has the a16

@@techblood they typically use the best chip from the flagship phone the year before, it would seem the a16 is the most likely outcome and it's an outstanding chip anyway🤟
