I was initially very worried about the size when I was picking up the Note 10+ (now using S22 Ultra) - but it's totally not an issue after a day or two - I have small hands and use it normally, carry it in my pocket all the time without problems, and it never bothered me the slightest. At the same time - that screen - man...When you get used to it, there's no going back. Everything looks amazing, and taking a smaller phone feels so cramped and limited. I don't think there's a feature on other phones that could pull me away from this screen size and quality. I don't use the S-pen at all either :)
Awesome unboxing and impressions. Hope your eyes have a speedy recovery bro! Ps: I bought your LUT packs, loving them and using them currently for my channel content :)
I ordered the graphite base S23, but delivery date is supposedly the 25th :/ I can live with that but I‘d rather have the phone now in black, then in graphite and wait 2 more weeks
I pre-ordered my graphite s23 ultra on Feb. 1st and still hasn't even been shipped. I probably won't get mine until launch day which is saddening because I have been using a cracked Note9 for over 2 years and I'm soo sick of this cracked screen. I actually use my S-pen alot. I am a person that uses my phone to learn languages like Arabic and Mandarin, and the S-pen allows me to practice my writing in Arabic and Mandarin. I would actually use my S-pen alot more if my screen wasn't cracked.
Nice seeing a iPhone user give a samsung a try and not be stuck up about it. They are great phones. Iphones are too I just prefer all the android customization.
The graphite doesn't get shipped until 24th only the phantom black is the earliest day for next day delivery if pre ordered on samsung website all the reay colors gets shipped on 24th feb
Thank god for that good intro. Its so cringe to see Tech youtubers sounding so naive about using a samsung phone as if they haven't seen an android samsung phone ever. So irritating to see that. Good video
Thank you for this video. I am undecided on which to phone to get from these two as I need to upgrade from my Huawei p20 pro. Soo looking forward to the forthcoming reviews 😊
Anyone who has seen both: is the frame on the Graphite version darker than on the Phantom Black? Or the same? On the Phantom Black it's already quite dark, but I'm not sure if it's actually black.
@@aexetan2769 I am also trying to find that out, as the back of the phone will be covered by a case anyway... only the frame will be visible. Did you find the answer?
@@chargv Well, comparing the press photos it looks like the Graphite frame is a little bit darker than the Phantom Black. Graphite looks glossy black while on the Phantom Black it is dark grey. As for the Phantom Black, I compared live the S23 Ultra Phantom Black to my S22 Ultra Phantom Black, and the frame colors are exactly the same.
Samsung Canada sucks. Ordered on Feb 03, people who ordered later than me got their phones, even with carriers. My order is still processing, for 11 days now. And no updates from live chat, they just say generic things... Never ore ordering a Samsung again,I'll just walk into best buy once it comes out and get one !
You are the tech youtuber I have seen actually managed the lights behind you to create a better colour range in video. Not sure you mean to do so or just accidentally, but the colour the feel is just match your style and voice. Very good !
I’m on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Reallllly tempted to try Samsung again. Had the s6 edge and it was awesome just buggy and always got hot. Sure they fixed that but I’ll do research to determine
I just bought the s23 thinking it would be awesome and had it online for sale that very day. The screen was nice and bright, mega quick, good size but the UI and android is pretty bad. I’m on my way to purchase the iPhone 14 today since I hated the s23 so much , despite it being inferior. I don’t like the 60 hz or old chip or the feel in the hand but at least it’s not Samsung UI. And no I’m not a sheep, I just spent a fortune on a Samsung
phones have been adopting wider aspect ratios for a long time now and most viewers use phones also the whole cinematic thing and/or the viewer equating "movie aspect ratio" with higher quality production
Mine came early too bro. I just pre-ordered like I always due and it came today. I thought I was tripping because release date is the 17th. 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️ I'm not complaining!
Show us please the 200 mpx difference with 50 mpx RAW files. That's the clue. And compare these [200 mpx / 50 mpx raw] vs 48 mpx raw iphone at 100% crop especially 🙏🙏🙂🙂
Hey Oliur- would love to know about your laser eye surgery journey! I’m considering it but not sure where to start research wise. Will you be doing a RU-vid video on the subject? Sorry if you mention it in the video and I missed it!
When did you place the order if I may ask? I have ordered the same colour aswell, pretty restless now! 😅 untill i have it in my hands Upgrading from Galaxy S9 plus
The battery isn't good as the IPhone 14 Pro but not far off. Charging speeds to 100 is around about 52 mins on the S23U (with a 45w charger that's not supplied) & apparently close to 1 hr 30 mins on the iPhone 14 Pro.
