I use a 14 Pro Max for personal use, but I have my old XS as a work phone and I absolutely love it! It's a great size, still very snappy and it's still relatively powerful considering it's age. I'd recommend it still in 2024
This is the design most modern phone makers should look into...Because it looks good and feels good in the hand. Not the flat and square design that they are using today.
Dont know if you mentioned it, or maybe i missed it, but its also the last iPhone with 3D Touch screen. Recently upgraded from XS Max to 15PM and i still miss that feature.
I have always been a Samsung Note or Google Pixel user ... i am considering picking up a used XS Max to try out the iphone experience. Looks to be a pretty solid phone still
I had the XS Max and it was by far the best phone I owned. I sold it when I upgraded to an 11, and boy did I regret that. Since then I have not really been a fan of the new designs. Got so bad went back to my iphone 7 Plus coz i hate the way the newer iPhones feel. Have an opportunity to purchase a NEW iPhone XS Max and after seeing this, I think I will pull the trigger. I do not need the cameras or displays of today, just a phone that works like I need it to. Great video. Thanks!
Slap a Dynamic Island and C port with updated refresh rate, up the camera megapixels, and I Bet people would be paying 1000 for it all over again. Returned my iPhone 15pro and I’m back on my XS
My most favorite feature of this phone is the back design. Even the newer iphones like the 11 12 13 14 15 ones dont feel that satisfying if i compare those stylings with it.
On the xs max lockscreen pressing the flashlight button with 3D touch feels like pressing a real button. Its click sound & vibration just like real button with satisfying press. The flashlight has 4 levels of brightness. Amazing!
Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as it's about to lose the latest iOS (which I need for my Apple Watch), but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade. Have to say, if it wasn’t for my Watch, I’d have just got a new battery - loved everything about the XS, and was sorry to see it go. Thanks for the content.
@@prolificfooty9 Love it. Couldn’t get brand new (the only colour they had was pink), but this one’s not far off. 100% battery and a 2 year warranty. And the same ‘footprint’ as the iPhone 7 I had before the XS. Loving the MagSafe, and finding a few differences in the same iOS, because it’s a newer phone.
Used this device up until the end of the April 2024. Its pretty good and relatively smooth for its age. Main issue is the battery - its so bad that 70% drains with 2-3 hours of use (for reference my new S24 only drains 25% in that time). If you have or plan getting this device, my suggestion is to replace the battery, overall still a good phone.
Yo notice nothing going from 60 to 120hz, But once you taste 120hz, and you try going back to 60hz, you're gonna have a hard time dealing with the lag.
Same, i just dont get it. And when I tried a samsung for a few years and everyone was telling me how much better the high res options is, i could not tell the difference between the lowest and highest (qhd) setting. But my eyes aren't great lol
Rocking my xsmax at bh 82. Only having storage issues cos its 64. Bought it used in 2021 at 89% BH. In my opinion its the best desigh out there with the housing that doesn’t scratch or peel like the newer iPhones always looking fresh. Using my 2 favorite iPhones 8plus and xsmax. Recently broke my 8 plus screen will change it soon
I just love the design of the Xs. The matte back and square edges of the recent iPhones are just becoming boring in my opinion, and this gold color is just so beautiful with the glossy back
When the XS came out I had the galaxy s7 in 2018 now i have the iPhone 14 my previous phone was the galaxy s21 i think the S9 released during same year only had like 2 years of software updates and over 5 years later the XS is still getting updates

3D Touch started with the 6s and 6s on iPhone and the Xs and Xs Max being the last. I have an Xs on iOS 16 and I’m not updating it because I believe they disabled 3D Touch and I don’t want to find out in case I’m unable to revert back to iOS 16. If anyone can confirm 3D Touch is still on iOS 17 that’d be great ty

Just ordered an iPhone Xs for my mom, she had an iPhone 7 Plus which used to be mine until 3 years ago, still in great condition and everything, but her iCloud was hacked and we couldn't get the iCloud lock off it with restoring, Apple support was of no help so it just bricked the phone :(
I have the Xr right now and where I’m from it’s amazing upgrade from the XS (don’t know why but it’s more expensive) but I want an Xs. Very good in terms of single hand usage. Just that. The XR is too big for me Edit: also great two camera system plus I’m upgrading to the 13 when it gets cheaper after the next iPhone drop
I'm actually on a very tight budget as well as I want something that's good for performance and especially camera department. I'm an aspiring videographer and photographer. Currently I own a basic Samsung galaxy M series... which has decreased its camera capabilities significantly. Can't go for a big ones such as 13 pro and so on. So, considering the need, is it a good choice?
I’d say yeah, cameras are pretty good for what they are. Not the best anymore but they’re a lot better than you’d expect for something that came out 6 years ago
its werid. this video states that the X does not have night mode? the reason i hate using my nikn D3000 is that it takes horribel pictures in low lightening. when i am in a church in europe forget about the nikon. my iphone 10 takes awesome shots in low light, so why is that is there is no "night mode"?
This is the last iphone i'd recommend in the past 7 years. Because the 11Pro saw +40% perf gains. The 11 Pro is the largest generational leap of the modern era in terms of battery and performance, so definitely avoid anything older than the 11.
I picked one up today just for warzonemobile its a beautiful phone only downside i got is the battery life is down but apple can change the battery for £85 so i cant really moan

If you budget is tight you could probably opt for a iPhone 12 you could probably find one on eBay for like $250-300 or maybe a used 13 mini for around $300-350 even though I have the 14
I bought this phone at 256gb for under $200 refurbished on Amazon but I was ok with that cause I wanted it as a secondary phone for work I use Bluetooth and WiFi a lot and didn’t want to constantly have to charge my main phone that’s how I fucked up the battery on my last main phone so I got it&loved it if my brother didn’t need a temporary phone asap I would still have it but found the 12 mini at a good deal to replace it under $300 for premium condition ^_^ my first mini I can’t wait it’ll bring back fond memories of my iPhone 5s had that for like 5 years damn I loved that phone but my 15 is a manageable size for my tiny hands xD great review wanted to know if that phone was still usable today for my brother
