does it worth the $1900-$2200 USD price range, as of Indian pricing ???? In our India, it's; $1900 USD for 128 Gb, $2000 USD for 256 GB & $2200 USD for 512 GB...... or I would rather go for Samsung Note 20 Ultra or Upcoming S21 Ultra..... it cost around $1300 USD.......
Why do youtube phone people love this expression "in the hand" so much? "It feels great in the hand." Where else do you use a phone other than "in the hand"? How does it feel "on the foot" or "under the elbow"?
Wow I never knew this was going to be true, until I contacted IIFRANK230 on Instagram and I was given a brand new iPhone 12 pro max, I can't believe it
Probably why you shouldn't try to catch a falling iPhone 12 pro max(I dunno why it would be falling, probably cuz of a drop test). Cuz if you miss and it hits you face instead, you'll die before it..
I was coming from the iPhoneX 256 gig hard drive. Purchased the pacific blue 512 gig 12 pro max. Love the size, battery life & the cameras are amazing, especially coming from a 3 year old phone.
is there any problem you run into so far? how about pubg gaming is it smooth ? and hows the battery life, ive heard playing games for 3 hours or so the battery is dead and its worst compared to 11 pro max
I am also considering buying this device. I’m on a X as well. Being completely honest would you say the premium price was worth it? Lmk pro and cons? Thanks man
@@Jordanethix it’s awesome. I play war dragons on it for long periods of time. I have no problem going 24 hrs on a full charge with over 8 hrs of screen time. Stream songs, use social media & watch videos on RU-vid with no problem
There are a lot of people that buy the larger iPhone due to the fact that they have difficulty seeing small text. Even blowing up the text on the smaller devices, they feel more comfortable if they can read on the larger device. They may not really purchase it for all of the additional features but for that one in particular
Upgraded from an XR. Massive improvement. The screen res and OLED panel is an insane change and the size is so much better. The cameras a huge upgrade too, and the design feels different. Happy with this
@@kaeleii If you are coming from an older iphone, it's definitely worth the upgrade! If you have a newer iphone, Idk if it's worth the purchase. I love shooting photography as a hobby, and because of this, I definitely find the price tag to be worth it! I love being able to keep my DSLR at home and shoot freely with my phone. I don't plan on getting another phone for a couple years. Also, I have dropped the phone from waist level several times and I have zero scratches on it, and I have the apple green case, and the apple wallet. It's holding up great and i'm really happy with my purchase.
You forgot to mention one thing about this phone..... It's durability lol. It's literally built like a tank. Phonebuff just posted a comparison between this and the note 20 ultra lol
@@amirbarjakli3383 I’ve got both and personally with the way Android is going the iPhone is a better option. I’ve been a android guy my whole life so I usually tend to lean on android more but the battery life and just over all this iPhone is a beat
I love the larger screen size of the pro max but returned mine due it feel like holding a brick, purchased an iPhone 12 and love it really best bang for the buck.
They would save about an ounce if it was aluminum. I do like the weight, it “feels” good to me, personal opinion of course. But I also like lightweight, it would be awesome if they made an iPhone using titanium!
12 pro just has telephoto lense Which gives you 2 times optical zoom vs digital, I don’t zoom too much when taking photos and pro has lidar scanner which helps with nighttime photos but in all honesty I don’t take a whole lot of night photos, also the 12 pro was like a month wait and I got the 12 right away. I didn’t want to wait a month, if they had the 12 pros available I probably would have got the 12 pro . But can’t go wrong with this 12 it’s an amazing phone.
6s. I ran out of space on mine. And I’m on my 2nd battery also. I generally like the smaller phones but I’m getting older and my eyesight is getting worse. It’s harder to read on the small screens even if they’re “blown up.” This will be all new to me without the button.
I’ve had mine for a week exactly- and.... this thing NEVER DIES! Also I only got the 128gig, but the management of space through iOS alone-- I don’t see myself coming near 70gigs by the time I upgrade again.
11 to 12 Pro Max and LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS AN IMPROVMENT! Cameras, literal theatre of a screen, and it took me 10.5 hours of constant usage to kill the battery... So worth it imo! .. Tho 14.2.1 has caused a very slight battery drain. Does it just need time to finish stocking the update?
ابوبكر الصادق well RU-vid and social media are some of the biggest battery drainers (along with high brightness) ; with the 10.5 hours I didn’t use full brightness (bc the display is super bright and I didn’t need it); but I did a combo of social media, RU-vid, streaming, lots of safari browsing, and some music
I recently switched from the 6(16gb) to the OP 8t hahaha. Been using the 6 for 5 years ish. The only downside is the battery life which deteriorated after 3 years. Other than that it's still smooth af.
For the extra $100, you're basically paying the the screen, battery, and more materials, the camera is a bonus. $100 ? to Apple? is not that much. Still getting the max for the stuff above.
Just got the 12 PM as primary phone, replacing my 11 PM, which now serves as my secondary phone. If you’re a big phone lover, you’ll love it. Its an enormous iphone with exceptional industrial design. It’s definitely a better phone than previous series. Using The 11 PM after the 12 PM feels like using the regular pro seri...If you plan to upgrade your iphone (from any seri before the 11 PM), no issues in spending additional bucks, and into (really) big screen phone, never in doubt in choosing the 12 PM...
it’s honestly a great phone. definitely worth the money. i had the iphone 8 for 2 and a half years. the 12 pro max is a big phone but i’m not complaining. it’s great for photos and games and the battery is AWESOME.
My first Apple product ever was this phone. I was gonna get the gold one but when i saw pacific blue in person, i fell in love with it instantly. 12 Pro Max (256gb) in India costs around 1800 USD 😭.
I agree but if apple had to choose like Samsung and use a 120hz 1080P option, I would rather not have the 120hz. Putting the iPhone next to a note 20 ultra on 1080P, the iPhone looks so much better. And for some odd reason the QHD 60hz on the note 20 ultra is a lot less smooth than iPhones 60hz display. Btw, I have both phones in hand
I have both also and I noticed the same, I put my note on the highest resolution when I press ordered the pro max just so the lack of 120hz wouldn't disgust me. I too noticed that 60hz on iPhone is way smoother than 60hz on the note, especially scrolling an article, but thought I was just making a rationalization in my head lol. Good to hear someone else noticed it too.
I love my iPhone pro max 12 it’s a beast the best phone I ever have owned. I got the phone yesterday and Wow is the word. Never going back to Android again, iOS 14 is so good now and the user friendly interface is awesome and the design on this phone is so fucking beautiful. Love it!
I just got it 3 days ago , 11pro max still being a incredible phone , the fast charge is the same and I even feel 12 max was slower . Battery started to heat up the first day I bought it and my backup restore wasnt uploaded yet , I know people Is going to say was a bug or an app running behind . The upgrade in my case is a waste of money . I said if this new phone freeze in any moment I will return it and the phone did it this morning, I feel so frustrated at that point , how come an apple software so simple like ios 14 could cause a crash . Look at that samsung 21 ultradeals with a busy multi costumized system .
Me being a Samsung guy i really think this Apple 12 series of phones looks exquisite. I have an S9Plus and I will be upgrading next year. Great videos. I love tech I research it everyday. I wish Apple gave its fans 120hz refresh rate. Stay safe brother 🙏.
The description is ridiculous. I’m coming from a iPhone 7plus and I see actually big differences. When I was taking a selfie photo from iPhone 7plus my face was so blurry, it didn’t seem that I was in the photo, I looked like a different person. When I finally got the iPhone 12pro max the detail was so good that I said to myself. If time came back and I had to take again a decision I would buy the same phone. Is the best thing happened in my life. It is actually worth it….
Moved from 8 plus. The 12 pro max is great apart from the weight. It literally thuds on my desk. Notch is a disappointment too. Camera is incredible compared to the 8.
Good review. I normally get the max sized phones but this time decided to get the regular 12 pro and I’m pretty happy with it so far. It’s the weight of the max that I’m not keen on, too heavy to carry around in your pocket all day.
@@ale61224 for me it’s been absolutely fine. As an example I went to bed last night having used 3.5 hours screen on time and still had 59% battery left.
just order my 12 pro max yesterday, after haveing the iphone X since it was released i feel like i will get a big bump in performance and camera quality :)
I’m one of those people who relies mainly on her phone instead of a tablet or computer. Last phone was an SE20. I love the 12 Pro Max in gold. Absolutely no regrets.
Hey There, loved the video! please suggest me which one decide 12 pro 256 gb or 12 pro max 128 gb (money is not concern but the size and battery life does) is 12 pro 256 gb worth it ?
7 Plus to 12 Pro Max here. The 7 Plus has been the phone I owned since November 2016 and kept me very happy over the last 4 years. Hoping the 12 Pro Max can beat it.
Maybe I'm in a minority, but the large size of this one bothers me less than the 11 pro max's did. Here it seems to have crossed a magic threshold where the size is worth it, and truly effective. You enjoy the payoff and forget the burden of it more now.
Hey Jason, I finally upgraded to a 12 Pro Max, from my 7 Plus. Nice phone and the new gestures + FaceID aren't as big of a pain as I originally thought it would be. Did my upgrade through Best buy, so i could get a good look at the phone in person first. Got $150 trade in from my 7 plus as it was still considered perfect condition after 3 years. Not a bad deal at all. I got the gold 128 GB as that was the best value for me to save money on that particular model. Wanted blue but didn't have it in the capacity needed to give me the savings. It's OK though my iPad Air 2 and 7 plus are / were both gold. One thing I did want to add, if you take into account the bezels of the 7 Plus, the 12 pro max is about the same size when it comes to length. the 7 plus was slightly wider left to right, but because the new phones have edge to edge displays, they factor to be the same size if you take into account the bezels as I mentioned above.
I enjoyed your presentation. I was looking to purchase the 12 Max not only for the better camera. But I'm also considering the font size on the phone. Im using right now an iPhone 7 and my eyes are playng tricks on me and I'm having trouble reading, As I'm getting older it seems the font is getting smaller. My thought is on a max the font should be much bigger. but how bigger is it comparing with an iPhone 12 Pro? Since the photography according to what you are saying is not that much different between the 2 phones and the over sized Max make me go back to the 12 Pro.
You mean... your phone. Talking about daily driver is just silly if you don't have two, three phones to switch from, like... RU-vidrs that review phones...
@@seventysevencats thanks for the info and yes I have three phones.. Iphone Xs max, samsung note 9 and the mate 20 x wich i love the most. I just love phones with big screens.
@@angeleyeswatchinu I got Mate20X as my daily driver as well. And iphone X as a second phone.Really love this Mate20X nothing can beat its overall functionality
This review forgot to point out that iPhone 12 Pro Max is having: the best battery life, the biggest screen, the best overall performance (A14 and GPU works at slightly bigger frequencies that on 12 Pro and other models), sharper tele lens than F2.0 camera module on 12 Pro, better portraits from that 65 mm F2.2 lens, screen has better colour calibration, F2.4 Ultra Wide Lens / camera module is a little bit sharper than on the smaller iPhones, main camera sensor offers better per pixel sharpness and produces less noise, Night Mode is also better and it takes 1-2 seconds less of exposure than on ie. iPhone 12 Pro to obtain similiar output, of course you can set longer time on iPhone 12 Pro Max to get even better results (less noise, better sharpness), Pro Max offers the best sound quality from speakers (more bass, better mids, higher loudness). There are also some iOS features exclusive for Pro Max versions... That costs just 100 USD more than iPhone 12 Pro. For me it was a killer deal and totally no brainer. So instead of iPhone 12 Pro I bought Pro Max 256 GB and I am totally blown away. It's just a complete package. :)
Thank you for the video. Question: I have been really contemplating on upgrading. I have an iPhone XS Max. I was contemplating on upgrading to the 12 Pro Max. I feel like I’m behind in the technology but wanted your honest opinion. Thank you.
haha it's seriously huge, but you're right it's gorgeous. yeah the gold is super nice, was very close on getting it but changed my mind at the last minute.
@@tomm3218 i ultimately went with using the regular 12 pro as my daily - it's the phone that to me has everything I need with the best form factor. Thanks for the feedback!
just got mine 2 days ago i was shocked when i opened the box and left it there to think about it, but today i started using it as my daily driver and yes i like it very much still bit scared to hold it while im on the street being will drop it but i guess after several days will be fine
@@maryttn I like the bigger screen, the camera is much better. Keep in mind I’m coming from an iPhone XR. The battery last noticeably longer. I like watching videos on it and I do some minor gaming, so to me it’s worth it, and after awhile it doesn’t feel that much bigger, in my opinion.
My use of the iPhone 12pro max is as a recording studio in my hand and it’s working beyond expectations. With 6 gig ram and fast processor this thing is equivalent to my laptop and desktop performance. Wish that some of the windows apps would run in iOS. EG. like BIAB.
I’m rocking my iPhone 12 mini (256GB) black with no regrets. Absolutely love a phone in a phone size. Could I wish for more battery?, well yes. Do I believe that Apple will release a MagSafe powerbank?, yea I do. Would that solve all problems?, well for me at least... great review on the Max. Great phone for those who don’t need to put it in ones pocket ☺️
out of all the iPhones dropped this year, the mini has been the most surprising in a good way - it's addicting to use, and I'm loving the form factor a lot more than I thought I would. Working on the review on it for early next week, keep an eye out!
I just love that device, the 12 pro max is truly an apple iPhone lovers dream! The square phones are my favorite and I've heard that the iPhone 13 may finally catch up with Android and offer a 120hz screen refresh rate can't wait to try that out. Love iPhone
Thanks for a great video Jason - as always it’s factual and to the point! You’ve hit the nail on the head and I believe this year’s phones just feel lacking somehow. I can’t help but feel that battery life, except for the max, has gone backwards. I usually upgrade annually, but this year I don’t really see a need to coming from the 11 Pro, especially if my battery life is going to be worse. The max cameras don’t differentiate enough from the rest to justify the cost and I can’t help but feel it was meant to have a pro motion display that did not make it to production in time. I’m waiting for to create a shakeup in the phone world like the did with the M1 macs - here’s holding thumbs for next year 👍🏼.
I just buyed an iPhone 12 Pro Max 24 hours ago and let me answer straight to all of your fears. Too big? Personally it fits perfectly in my pockets, even in my skinny jeans. I can also use it with one hand (although it will be less comfortable than with two), while I have standard sized hands. Too heavy ? Certainly, it is heavier than what we are used to, but we get used to its weight very quickly. And then, at least you'll feel it right away if it disappears from your pocket. Screen at 60hz? The screen is just sumptuous, the resolution is incredible and the colors are crazy. I also welcome the choice of Apple to have privileged the battery to the refresh rate of the screen, the latter being a futile criterion in my eyes. Speaking of battery, the iPhone largely lasts for the day with heavy use. Fingerprints on the side? At this price, protect your iPhone guys. A beautiful Apple case will protect the corners, improve the grip and bring character to the design. The price ? Sure my bank account will have a hard time recovering. But hey, these prices have become a standard in the market. The competition offers poorer products for much less. Except Apple doesn't make a bad product. In short, this iPhone has it all. Sorry for my bad English but I'm a French speaker.
I had an 8+ that was shattered to hell and half the screen flickers. I’ve always justified my top of the line iPhone purchases with the fact that I only visit Apple to buy a new one every few generations. I’m happy as hell with the purchase though. The camera and screen alone made my jaw drop.
Good review. Your voice is great. I have an iPhone 7 plus and I guess the 12 Pro Max is not a lot bigger than my current phone. I love photography and the cameras are important for me. Will upgrade next year when I'm financially capable.
