The iPod Nano 6th Generation is likely one of the best non audiophile audio players, with a tiny size, a lot of features and a cool factor. But yet, I am not going to keep mine. Why? Find out in this video
@@xmj1279 dont care use headphones jack on it there even best headphones to buy it its not that you gonna put your nano i ur pocket lol u can just clip it on shirt
I got this thing when I was 12 or so but rarely used it because I was too young to really appreciate it so it was banished to the bottom of a drawer for several years. I'm now 22 and really stoked to have such a cool lil' retro piece, I like the design and there's something strangely interesting to me about having to manually download music onto the device from a computer as opposed to having ready-access from built-in internet connection.
Imagine if it had Bluetooth, clip it anywhere you're wearing and using wireless earbuds or even Airpods lol Too bad we didn't got Bluetooth on an iPod Nano till the 7th gen which has no clip
Thanks for the memories. I had a silver one in 2012 which Apple sent as a free replacement for my 1st Gen iPod nano from 2005 which I also loved. It was really neat because at the time I also had a 2009 iMac, 2010 iPhone 4, and 2012 iPad 3… which all shared a similar look. Like yours.. the power button stopped working after a couple years. This was a common problem with this generation. I’d either use a dock connector to wake it… or Id use my headphones to control it. Don’t put them in your pocket though. That’s how mine met its end in 2007 when I forgot it and it went through the wash.
Now imagine this with Apple Music support and free cellular capabilities provided by Apple. Also significantly boosted battery and storage AND keeping the radio!
Great video review. I am just looking into getting one and this helped me to understand all the features! I just found out I can get a bluetooth adapter for it..which might ruin the square look but might be good for when I am cycling around town.
I bought one that was basically new in the box, but the battery is shot. I'm gonna replace it, though. It's not a hard fix if you've even done something similar before.
This is a common issue on this model. I will recommend you to fix it yourself. You can find the parts in Aliexpress. It's a complex process but if you study the repair videos and do it carefully it can be done.
I may potentially buy myself another one of these iPods and do a power button replacement in the future. Because this is by far my favourite iPod I’ve owned
Depends on where you live. eBay is the easiest. If you have CEX in your country, they give you a warranty. You might have other shops that sell old goods as well, like CashConverters
Amazing quality of iPod just nano 6th version guys 🤔 best & perfect quality 🤔 Nano 4 & 5 not impressive just so so 🤔 shuffle 4th not bad but just so so due 🤔
I bought mine from ebay. Its a brand new and sealed. I ordered it yesterday. Im waiting for the next 5days to deliver it from me. I got this way back 2013 when i was in the philippines. Its a RED version, but i sell it before i went here in the u.s.a to have an extra pocket money. Then after 3yrs i missed my ipod nano 6th Gen coz id like listening fm music on it. Then i decided to find it in amazon but theres no available then i go on ebay.. And boom i find a brand new one for about $177 plus tax it runs for about $192. So thats it.. U must try to look in ebay. There are some used items on it which cost 60- 75 bucks, but i prefer the new one.. By the way it is also a treasure for me 😂
Battery is trash, power button breaks easily and hard to repair and no bluetooth. I'll take my ipod nano 7th gen with better screen bluetooth great battery life and headphone jack anyday.
