Just got my unit. Everything was going good - until I went to program the controller only to find out that I'm missing the power cord as well as other cords. Ump!
Yeah, the comment on Amazon make it seem pretty common to be missing pieces, Amazon should take care of you though, I got everything on my third box just took time to call and talk to Amazon customer service
Use zip ties around filter inside tent and hang fan and filter together then run duct out top hole in tent ...been running mine 2 yr like that don't have clamp everything .... slide it together and hang em and done or put filter on floor stick fan in filter run duct and done .... Zip ties all need Till other stuff comes in
Hi I got the ipower 4” carbon filter but I lost the instruction/ manual for it. I think I remember your supposed to change the white filter every 6 months inside out or something like that to keep the freshness. Would you happen to know?
Sorry for the Delay Young Cedo, I’d be happy to help with that let me think of a way we can connect, maybe Facebook or Instagram would be easier than RU-vid. In the mean time don’t over think it. I prefer my filter on the suction side of the fan so it’s in the tent. I didn’t have everything I wanted to put it together but I made it work with some duct tape and straps. Try not to have hard metal to hard metal connections just cause they don’t seal well but do what ya gotta do.
I mounted the filter to the exhaust side directly with some tape to seal it. I drilled a couple holes put two screws through the coupling point. It worked good, I bought a second for a spare but haven't needed it. I notice the impeller is a different design on the other one. I chose this fan for the steel housing so if it gets hot for some reason it should reduce the fire hazard.
