@@brunch. other major team sports have promotion and relegation outside of American sports. But they don't have the same popularity or participation so football is superior in that sense, not solely because of promotion and relegation
True, but Some of the GOAT sports figures are outside of football, especially in individual sports, were your are on your own. In football and team sport, you can perform below your best, and your team will still win games or trophies. But none of the others sport have the same level of drama Interested to see how quickly Wrexham can get to the Premier league when you look at the progress teams like Bournemouth, Luton, in the past decade
As an Argentinian, I love English football. It has so many good teams with so much history, beautiful stadiums, they love soccer like we do. I hope you win the Eurocup this year! Hugs
Hope so too, but English teams disappointed in European tournaments at club level this year only Aston Villa is left, but could be going out in semi final. So England missed out on having 5 teams in the UCL next season.
Well done Kieran and the boys. Even 3000 miles away I am so excited for the Team and Town having supported for 50 + years. Cannot wait to see them on MOTD!
You'll soon get fed up of MOTD, get a dozen games in witth 6 -8 pts on the board and getting fucked up the arse most wks !!!! Looking forward to a good laugh next season🤗 Straight back down like the 3 who wet up last season. 👍
Was in Ipswich the day they got promoted to the Championship. Beautiful to be there to see the Old Supporters proudly wearing their old shirts. Have a daughter there and love visiting. Will get to a match hopefully this season. Irish Tractor Boy.
Absolutely fantastic achievement Ipswich.i remember you were always a first division side growing up in the 80s great to see you back and with some style..from a Leicester fan.
Such a change to, not seeing the players running off the pitch at full time but celebrating with the fans .... Up the tractor boys! I'm working there tomorrow by chance
Sincere Congratulations to the Tractor Boys, im a Sunderland Fan but i lived in Suffolk in the 90's, i have a soft spot for ITFC and wish you all the very best for next season and beyond, hope we can join you sometime "All The Very Best" 🎉
Is the premiership really the holy grail? Most promoted clubs come straight back down...others who stay up just exist they don't compete or win anything and it costs them a small fortune just to exist in there. Good luck Ipswich hope you buck the trend...remember this season and last with fondess as next season will be tough.
Norwich fan here . Couldn't agree more with wot you said . The PL is a depreessing place for promoted sides . Getting done most wks and wondering where the points are coming from is demoalising .. lm already dreading the thought of Norwich maybe winnig the playoffs cos i know wot will be coming 😫 Can't go thru that again I kind of hope we don't.🙏 They should enjoy this season, cos they won't next. But i will 😉 OTBC
Ipswich will need build this season they can keep winning leagues with a league 1 team 😂 Just also like to say thank you nobwich for keeping our seat warm while we’d been away ! We’ll take it from here ….
C'est super, ce que à fait c'est entraîneur 2 montées d'affiler. Revoir cette équipe ipswich town en première league. Après 22 ans. Et peut-être jouer contre leur rivaux de toujours norwich city à condition qu'il remporte les play-off ?
My God that was so f****** exciting I can't even take it I'm a new viewer of the second tier, especially holy crap was that f****** awesome! I can't wait to root for this team to beat Manchester, United etc etc. Next season. Good for them. Great for that coach. He's awesome the players in the fans and everyone while what a f****** awesome job from all of them this season
Wish them to stay in PL for season 2025/26 not like this year all 3 promoted clubs Burnley Sheffield United n Luton on the way to championship again...
Just a quick reminder to calm Ipswich fans down. Lets Not forget that Frank Worthington (Who also played for Leicester City FC), Scored *"THE BEST GOAL IN FOOTBALL HISTORY"* against Ipswich, in 1979 If you've Never seen it before you'll Never Forget it when you do... The Players, The Crowd and Nobody watching on TV seen it coming... A Truly *MAGICAL* Goal ! Header... Juggle ~ Juggle ~ Juggle ~ Turn ~ Crack ~ *_"BACK OF THE NET...!"_* 🤣
