Thanks for making these, mate, they’re really helpful!! That turn 1 apex is tricky, I kept getting thrown to the left running over it and spinning out. The thrustmaster cup series allows setups and I feel like I get about a second per lap using one I found on garage 61. This community is so great for sharing these videos and setups with a noob like me 😂
You may have this covered elsewhere on your channel, but what shift aids do you run for the FF1600 ? I feel like i should move away from the default autoblip settings and you seem to barely lift when shifting ? Assume either really fast or using your actual clutch ? Any pointers much appreciated.
Hiya mate, I use a button clutch (so I just assign a button as a clutch on the wheel rim) and press that every time I change up or down. It’s worth 3-7 tenths per lap in the FF1600 so well worth it. It did take me a week or so to get to the point where I wasn’t even thinking about it so persevere if you try it. But you’re right, I don’t lift specifically to change gear.
getting good takes so much time and also teaching from others. unless…there are people who just have natural talent and they can bang of 1.11s with ease. wish i could…
@@supertoastboi3231 yeah some people have natural talent for sure but I’ll die on the hill that states that with enough practice and race craft, anyone could hit 3k.
