Good fun race - helped immensely by everyone crashing behind you. It amazes me how fast and consistent you are as you jump from car to car. I can't get close to your times even if I stick to just one car!!

The speed of the LMP's still stuns me. I used to drive them but could't commit the time to becoming proficient. The Radicals I drive are awesome fun, but they ain't the land based jets these things are. Great content, BTW.

Mint race I love watching you race I watch so many sim races and I very rarely get into them like when I'm watching f1 and heart and adrenaline starts going I watched a couple of your best races last few days and heart and adrenaline was going eyes were glued to tv and what I enjoyed the most was just the quality of the driving yours and people around you absolutely top class wheel to wheel driving a pleasure to watch also love you taking us through your thought process as you are driving picked up some great tips And another thing how are you so calm and collected through those wheel to wheel battles

In that quarantine, today I saw two great races, Spa 95 with Schumacher starting at 11 * or 12 * and winning with absolute superiority with his Benetton and now I saw this beautiful race Dave !!! fourth was a victory

Good. Idea Dave, the undercut I’ve never seen work on Monza , I think because of the long straights and heavy brake zones you gain so much time on low fuel, I’ve over cut a few people this week when they pitted early😀

Dave Cam - it’s been a while since I played racing games - GP2 on the PC in 96/97 using steering controls without feedback. 😬😲 These new games are amazing and the rig setups look awesome. I’m playing AC and iRacing; I’m out of Rookie (thanks to your videos and tips) and trying out the Skip Barber races now. Your racing style is great to watch - clean but aggressive where required 👍🏼

I don't drive in IMSA and ILMS anymore for several reasons: - 1 - it became a monocar cup... any car has a little advantage, everybody is driving it, car choice should be locked in W2 - 2 - mostly IMSA became quite dirty since iRacing got lot of exposure in different media because of the lockdown. - 3 - mostly #1... :D it's so boring everybody use the same cars on a multiclass multicar race

What a turn of events! Oh Mr. Saunders, I remember you from the Matt Malone days, he's quick but cracks under pressure, becomes unethical, seems he has never changed. Dan Suzuki on the other hand was unfortunate to get involved in that 1st lap incident, but he held his ground. Lol, stop with the commentators' curse, the good die young.

Catching up on some of your older videos that I have not previously watched. I noticed a James Clay in one of the prototype cars in this race. I wonder if that is the same person that has won many races in the Michelin Pilot Cup and is the owner of Bimmerworld

Good racing. It’s nice to see the Ford and Porsche making a comeback in iLMS. Last year seemed to be a parade of BMWs and Ferraris. Nothing against them, I enjoy the M8 myself, but it is more fun for me when there is a bit of variety. I would like to see iRacing limit your car selection to one car per season per class. They pride themselves on realism and simulating a career. Isn't that what a season in your career is? One car make all season long?

Great race Dave! How do you manage to have the small window showing the TV camera of your race? Did iRacing finally offer 'spectator only' accounts for streamers? Hoping you didn't have to purchase a separate account AND all the same content you already have just to be able to offer your viewers the external camera mode when live streaming? iRacing have been asked about this for years, surely streaming is here to stay and such great exposure for the service - maybe they could throw the content creators a 'bone'. PS - is that a SC2 you use? You keep the FFB on the lighter side?

Hey buddy. I use an Accuforce not an SC2 👍 As for the camera, it's nothing fancier than recording the replay seperately and editing it in later 😁

Great race Dave, smooth and steady does the job. One question, why are there so many Fords in the race (your car looks sooo classy with that Gulf livery)? I wonder why Saunders didn´t get a lifetime ban already, probably the most dirty racer out there...

I raced the Radical here once and missed my mark into turn 1 and had to duck inside the guy in front of me to avoid hitting him. Luckily it worked and I didn't destroy him. Must've been a surprise when he saw a car go flying in front of him at great speed as he was turning in! oops!

Does iRacing simulate aero washout? It seems like all of the corners you missed you were drafting the car in front of you, it would make sense if you lost your front aero in the draft that you would miss the corner too. Great race though, honestly I think that was my favorite mixed class race you've done so far. Big groups for LMP1 and 2 that made it really exciting to watch as they kept coming around. Also, when are they going to ban Saunders? I mean he's literally known around the internet for being a horrible driver, there are even posts on Reddit asking for him to be banned.

I use Logitech G533 and I really like them. Only downside is they need charged. That can be done whilst still using them so not to bad 👍

Hey guys. Thinking of getting a Fanatec CSL Elite to start dipping my toes into sim races. I run DiRT and GT Sport on PS4. The bundle seems pretty good and can upgrade parts individually as I become more experienced and build a sim computer. thoughts and opinions?

I've not tried the elite but had the 2.5 before my DD and loved it. As for the pedals I don't think you can beat the csl elite with load cell for the price 👍

@@davecamm Any advise on getting either the Elite wheel or the F1. The functionality of F1 is more and I do mostly road and formula, but I don't know how suited it would be when doing rally on DiRT

The formula wheels aren't great to be honest on anything other than the likes of iracing. I had the Porsche rim which was really good. The 'cheaper' P1 rim is very good too although it doesn't have a QR

I’ve been practicing Watkins Glen with the Porsche and have been spinning all the time. BMW is much easier for me at the Glen. Is the Ford OP right now because of the BOP?

I've tried the ford previously and found it unstable. I tried it this week and it felt fine. Must be the tyres 😁
