Iran introduced the latest variant of a domestically-produced air defence system that it claims can intercept US stealth fighters. The upgraded version of its Bavar-373 long-range air defense system made an appearance during an April 17 military parade.
The weapon's unveiling comes amid heightened tensions between arch-foes Iran and Israel. The region is on the edge after Tehran and Tel Aviv launched attacks on each other’s territory.

@@Endeavor-jp5it Are you on drugs? The F117 was flying with its bomb bay doors open which greatly increases their radar signature. There is no radar out there that can pick up stealth aircraft, the see a very very small signature. Many nations claim that they can but it has never happened, nobody has even been able to lock on and track one. The F117 was also the first aircraft of its time and it flew 38,000 sorties over serbia with only 1 loss, again, that's not the flex you think it is. It also flew 1300 sorties in the first gulf war with 0 losses. Google is free, use it before you embarrass yourself.

Russia doesn't have a hypersonic missile. The Kinzal missile is a ballistic missile which already goes hypersonic but a set path which can be tracked and taken out. A true hypersonic missile moves mid flight

@@cacamunch123 yes it does it's called the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile. It was recently used in Ukraine with a small warhead. Also China has a stick of them and is working with Iran with its BRI and BRICS as well as a huge oil trade deal so I'm sure they're also discussed hypersonic missiles in their trade discussions. Iran is in tied interest with Russia and China (anti-U.S. /israel/UK/EU/West)

It’s one thing to claim it’s another to PERFORM and also another to PERFORM WELL and another to PERFORM WELL CONSISTENTLY. Having said this I am suspicious about this new AD system. This is what they said about S300, S400 and S500 too. I am beginning to think Iran is just “Russia light” overstating the performance of their weaponry especially the indigenous ones. In Russia’s case it’s deterrence and arms sales. In Iran it’s just deterrence for the most part.

@@nemanjaljubicic5282 1999 stealth tech just rely on coating. American stealth now is ten fold of that. Radar absorbent coating, improved a design plus radar cross section technology that russian and chinese need at least 10 to 20 years to achieved. American jets on radar looks just a tiny bird. Imagine a b2 with wigspan of biggest airplane thats detected as small as tiny bird is technology unmatched by any adversaries
