One of the locals on the street recommended me to check out this restaurant in Kashan, so I took the opportunity and it has been such an amazing experience. I have met some incredible people and also got to see a Persian restaurant kitchen.

Azerbaijanis in Iran are Turks. They identify themselves as "Turks" and nothing else. Over the past millennia, the territory of today's “so-called” Iran was ruled by Turkic dynasties starting from the Ghaznavids, Seljuks, Timurids, Safavids and ending with the Qajar’s. At the early 20th century, the Persian Pahlavi dynasty stole power from the Turks with the help of European powers, mainly Britain. Until that time there had never been a country called Iran. Since that day the Persian nationalists have been discriminating against Azerbaijani Turks and other minorities. Azerbaijani Turks in Iran are not a minority, but a majority. The Iranian current ayatollah regime is systematically assimilating them. In most cases, Persian nationalists do not even recognize the Turkish identity of Azerbaijanis, calling them an Iranian "Azeri" minority or a hybrid mix of Iranians with Mongols. They openly insult the Turks, denying their ethnicity. This is the official state policy towards the Azerbaijani Turks in Iran. There are over 40 million Turks live in Iran, but they don't even have the schools in Turkish language. The regime persecutes every Turk who demands a school or any other basic human rights. The Persians are using the fanatical sect of Shia Islam to cover up their ultra-nationalist chauvinist agenda and oppress other ethnic groups. This ideology has nothing to do with the religion of Islam, but they call the state an Islamic republic. Iran is not an Islamic republic, but a Persian national kleptocracy. They actively promote the Persian-Nazi ideology of Aryan race supremacy.

Lamb stew white beans with dill rice (cheveed polo ba lubia). The aroma of this dish is mainly due to the desert climate, the fatty lamb, the dried dill. You have to taste this simple dish to understand the satisfaction on Davoud's face. Writing from Brazil, a native of Kashan....have fun, Kashan is amazing.

Davud you are doing a very good job on show casing the delights of Iran. I was reading about Iran's Iranophobia statements today on Al Jazeera. This is of course true as has been the case of other countries that have been destroyed and regions destablized. God bless Iran The people in the kitchen looked and reminded really a lot like my family members in Pakistan. Urdu consists of three languages: Arabic Turkish Farsi. Sabzi in 'Urdu' means vegetables. But, derived from Farsi. Farsi is closer to Turkish, while Urdu is close to Farsi, yet distant to Turkish. I have talked debated discussed with Iranians especially language experts. And also Afghanis who speak both Farsi and Urdu. Curriculum and syllabuss of Iran is highly advanced than, in Pakistan. The regional braintrust is Iran. Very simple. They do support uplift you.
@SonofChrist77
@SonofChrist77 2 года назад
I don’t think Parsi is closer to Turkish. We have a few loan words from Turkish like Agha (man) and Khanom (woman) but majority of Parsi words are originated from Iranian languages like Avesta and Middle Persian. Also your name is half Persian half Turkic: Khurram means happy in Persian and Khan (coming from Han = King) is Turkic 😊
@K-balance28
@K-balance28 2 года назад
@@SonofChrist77 thanks for feedback. Khuram Khorramabad is farsi. True. Khan is not only Turkish but also Arabic, like city of Palestine : Khan Younis. Khan came from mongols then exported to Asian continent because of Djengis Khan Kubilay Khan. Khan is pronounced as Han in Turkish. While Khuram is pronounced as Hürrem in Turkish which Sultan Suleiman named his Ukrainian/Russian orthodox wife because she was always so cheerful and joyful. Or happy. But after that Turkish nation never understood this thus think only the meaning and name belonging for women/girls. But Navid, mash'a Allah the name is used from Iran to India 🙂💚🤲🌹🌷🌺🙏
@SonofChrist77
@SonofChrist77 2 года назад
@@K-balance28 Wow! Brother you have such good knowledge about this mash’aAllah! Yes Navid is a Persian name that came to India through the various Turkic rulers it is known in India, Pakistan and Panjab as Naveed. Meaning new hope 😊❤️

Urdu language is derived from Sanskrit, its basically Hindi but with more persian and arabic words.
@K-balance28
@K-balance28 2 года назад
@@13thera21 tell that to the Turks. They created the language in 8th Century and gave it to the SouthEast regional territories. But, do you have links stating the facts Urdu has Sanskrit origin? Who has been the researchers? Were the proper independent research? Afroamerican comedians and activists have openly said who wrote history? The white man. Likewise, same Anglo Saxon pattern in former colonies based on Anglo Saxon minded to use British French Dutch Anglo Saxon guideline to oppress others. It's between the lines which is a Anglo Saxon guideline that's why you commented. Secondly, divide and rule to flame an issue topic matter. Sanskrit vs Arabic Turkish words textures, calligraphical art is way different than sanskrit. Not convincing for my mindset.

The City of Qom -I'm told is where you will be able to use Asalamoalikum with full confidence and ease but I don't think you would be allowed there unless for a religious visit and I suppose recording would be banned anyway for security purposes. I think it's very sad if a Muslim objects to the Islamic greeting, saying that Arabs use it. That is in part not correct, as at a global level it is used as the 'Islamic' greeting and I've never personally known a Muslim to object to this greeting. However, as it is difficult to identify who is a Muslim in Iran, if I ever come, I might by a rule of thumb use the Farsi greeting Darud unless I'm speaking to a bearded gentleman (though not all bearded gentlemen are Muslims). I have also personally found using Asalamoalaikum a safety measure over the years as in I'm not saying Hi or Hello to men and not approaching to be your friend so park that thought! It commands respect and is given with respect. During Eid prayers in Iran, Asalamoalaikum is used by the Imam as the greeting. The late Atolllah Khomeini (may God grant him eternal peace), worked extremely hard in uniting the Muslim sects and these objections to an Islamic greeting I therefore find somewhat disappointing. The glorious 'Quran' is written in Arabic and the five salahs said in Arabic. Therefore if you are a Muslim, I am saddened to hear objections and still don't understand it other than something that divides. By the way I'm also completely against the Saudi governments current stance with Iran, and hope there will be a complete change in this soon.
