Iran really is on a role! They reverse-engineered essential parts to keep F-14's in in the air, despite strict US sanctions. Iran made the Tomcats fly again. Persia always has been an important bridge between Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Let's hope the world opens up more, so Iran can even become a more important international player when it comes to cars, aircraft, drones, technology! Best from the Netherlands.
So what now? Iranian car sales account for less than 3% of the Russian market. Russia is purchasing a large number of more advanced Chinese cars, accounting for 50% of the Russian market. Oh, the interior of Iranian cars is full of Chinese parts, and the engines are all made in China. 😅
When every nation sanctioned by the USA comes together to form an alliance both political and economical, they will show the West that they can't and won't be isolated from the world. I'm sad that we didn't manage to defend our country in 90es, we had eventually capitulate in 2000. Majority weren't ready mentally. Bravo for you Iranian brothers!
Because the mafia does not allow the purchase of foreign cars and the people of Iran are forced to buy these junk cars and hundreds of thousands of people die every year because of the bad quality of cars assembled in Iran.

This car has a price of about 17500 dollars in the Iranian market and I can definitely say that it is the best Iranian car that has been produced so far. And thank you, Russell, for showing the capabilities and talents of Iran, who were able to build such a car in the most difficult conditions and the most sanctioned country in the world.

The funny thing is that the many sanctions do not work there either, because they only make the person who is subject to sanctions even more skillful. However, the "competition" is easier for the companies of the Western world. (Let's leave aside whether Iran is an Islamic dictatorship or not.) It is important to know that French manufacturers pulled out of Iran in the wake of the 2012 sanctions by Obama. Both french car manufacturers went bankrupt subsequently as they not only depended on the Iran market but they also imported car components for their cars in France keeping costs low. By 2016, all French car companies have been sold off to other European manufacturers. "When you sanction others, you sanction your own workers." The price of arrogance!

Good work Russell. All the complex parts in the Shaheeds are Western made, you can easily find a list online. These are dual-use parts, not sanctioned, that got into Iran from unscrupulous sellers.
