@Prashant Pratap Singh The word Sanskrit , is an endonym meaning named as such by the people using the language. The first mention of this word to mean something , is in Ramayan , which is an epic poem. In those times , people who spoke Sanskrit were not much different from people speaking old Persian even Ancient Greek. So my best guess would be , like to Greeks , Persians Spoke Persian language , the Indoi must have spoken Indoi language Notice that India in those times was centred around the region from Asvak-sthaan to the Sindu River , later it expanded .

as a persian I thought I must let you know that our languages have the same roots, the names of these great kings were in the ancient persian aka Avestan language which probably had the same roots as sanskrit! and the correct pronunciation of King Xerxes name in Avestan was xašāyār not Kshay-arsha! so I'd say this is a misunderstanding. the first part is of the Avestan word "xshA" which meant King in Avestan, and the second part is the Avestan word "yAvarana" which means helper and friend! I'd say this just shows how similar the Avestan used to be to sanskrit!

Sanskrit is a "refined" language literally, the grammar was formalized in India and it has many elements which came from Tamil/Dravidian language. Most languages there are semitic, how would Sanskrit, an Indo-Aryan language would be formed where Aramaic was the primary language. To tell you the truth, this is bit too much!

It is classical history that the names are more close to old sanskrit. The Persian kings and followers were speaking a form of old sanskrit afterall. So it would be closer to kshay arsha than xerxes. They take their lineage back to the archarya of the ahuras and later the prophet zoarastra.

Be respectful; khashayar sha is an old Persian name and has nothing to do with Sanskrit at all. Be respectful towards your nation and others. We really don't like to be mixed with cultures that have nothing to do with it. India has a lot to be proud for. Please stop this.Xerxes is the common Greek (Xérxēs) and Latin form (Xerxes, Xerses) of the Achaemenid throne-name which in Old Persian is spelled x-š-y-a-r-š-a (with the initial a- of the second element being spread into medial position) and must be interpreted as four-syllable Xšaya-ṛšā (thus first P. Tedesco in Herzfeld, pp. 97 f. and Hoffmann, p. 85, fn. 15). This form and the secondary contracted form *Xšayaršā are reflected more or less accurately in Bab. Ḫi-ši-ʾ-ar-šá/ši, Ḫi-ši-(i-)ar-ši/šú, Aḫ-ši-ia-ar-šú, Ak-ši-ia-ar-šú, Ak-ši-ia-mar-šú (with many other variants; cf. Dandamayev, pp. 82 f., no. 145; Tavernier, pp. 23 f., 66 ff.; Zadok, pp. 207-24, no. 283), Aram. ḥšyʾrš, ḥšyrš, ʾḥšyrš (cf. Porten and Lund, p. 356a), Bibl.-Aram. ʾḥšwrwš (with the wrong vocalization “Aḥašwērōš”), and Eg. ḫšjrš, ḫšjegyptian alephrš (cf. Vittmann, p. 164). From all those renderings are different both El. Ik-še-ir-(iš-)šá (cf. Hinz and Koch, p. 750), that is, /Kšerša/ or the like, and Gk. Xérxēs (originating in *Xérsēs by distance-assimilation x--x from x--s), which apparently render a shorter two-syllable form *Xšairšā or even monophthongized *Xšēršā; this medially shortened form must have existed already in Old Iranian (probably in spoken Old Persian) and was not created only in Greek (with a quite regular intermediate *Xeírsēs or *Xeírxēs) and Elamite respectively. The longstanding view that Gk. Xérxēs goes back to the attested Old Persian form through *Xḗrxēs, *Xāˊrxās, and OIran. *Xšāršā must be given up for phonological reasons (see esp. Schmitt, 1996, pp. 88 f.), and a common explanation for both the Elamite and the Greek form (which are remarkably similar to each other) must, in any case, be preferred.

@@rritiknegi5119 with all due respect; lot of languages in India, such as architecture and ... are affected by Iranian languages and culture. There are a lot of connections between Iran and most languages that are spoken in the whole world. Because the Persian empire ruled over them for a long time. Even Indian people have been in the army of Xerxes. Also, you have pahlevani or the work hendi that are from Persian languages. The Mongol dynasty of India was under heavy influence by Iranian culture, from all the dome architecture to the language that you spoke. When you talk about Sanskrit, it means before we call Iran Iran. Actually, the script language was a lot older than the Persian language. If we want to find the cultures in Iran that can affect our language or civilization. Medians. Also, Babylonians or Aserians are better answers as Persian tribes were living in Anshan. Also, the medians are our cousins. You can see today that the Kurd people are very close to us. We don't even connect ourselves to the ancient civilizations in Iran. Which supersedes all other civilizations on earth. If you want to look at our connection, look at your Parsis. as they mixed with Indians somewhat.. we believe they are Iranian people still at heart. You can see even they are not mixing with Indian culture even after 2000 years. While we'll say it as Arnab.. Because we have similar names but different dialects. Whereas someone from America would say Errneb.. Or something. The American is the Greek in context. Bengali is Persian.. And Hindi guy is sanskrit. What abhijeet said were the sanskrit versions of the original names.. Which must have been pretty close.

On the Contrary, Its the opposite. Out of India Theory probably has more Proofs than the Aryan Invasion Fairytale. A Couple of "Bhoja" Kings in North West Sindhu River (Modern day Pakistan) which was Ancient India back then, migrated Westwards and settled in Iran. This is why we share common Culture & Names with Iranians. Want Proof ? Proof 1 -> Read about "Parthia", They were an Indian Kingdom that ruled over Persia. They even worshipped Hindu Gods and have their Emblem (Karthikeya, So called Tamil God o n their Gold Coins. Proof 2 -> Even today, Iranisn refer to their Kings with the Title - Kambuziya (Originates from Sanskrit Kambhoja) and their Kings name are Shah (Derived from Sanskrit Ksha-triya). Now this clearly indicates that the former was inspired by Latter, not the other way around. If ytou want to prove Aryan Invasion Theory, Prove India was inspired by Iranian Culture, Name and Religion. I just proved you the "Out of India Theory" with 2 Proofs.

I don't blame you because obviously very small percentage of people study history after 10th in any form and class 6, some ppl don't like studies, or even if they, who would actually remember what was there in Class 6 History book I know our history is quite distorted, but he is mentioned in NCERT class 6 too

Not current modern day people but ancient people living in the region of Afghanistan, Central Asia and Eastern Iran were not "Indians" but had names and same culture as same as Ancient India. History isn't just last thousand year. If Invasions didn't had happened people would still be following the same thing as they were doing since thousands of years.

Yes the Aryan invaders that came to the Iranian plateau and the subcontinent have related languages and many words or names that are similar. Both were invaders who imposed their values on the pre-existing civilization that lived in those areas before them.. the Vedic varna.caste system being the remnants of their system of control.

Especially given that Xerxes proclaimed himself to have been an Aryan Prince in a particular inscription. And in the sense that the Aryan's were a people and not simply a title for a form of Aristocracy. Though they did often end up forming an Elite Aristocracy ruling over a larger, Conquered People. Though also, not always. They also mixed with people as they migrated. They also married into other Imperial Families, like the Egyptian Royal Houses. Now, does any of this mean that the Persian Rulers or that the Mitanni Rulers were from India? I think a lot more information would be required to even suggest that. It's certainly not impossible, however other possibilities exist as well.
