New satellite images show the extent of damage at Nevatim Airbase after Iran's ballistic missile attack on October 1. This base houses the U.S.-supplied F-35i Lightning fighter jets. Destruction can be seen near the aircraft hangar in the images. The pictures also show hole in the roof of a building near the aircraft hangar. Israel has admitted that its bases took damages during Iran's attack but has not yet specified its extent. Watch for more details.

If you were even caught up slightly on the situation you would know the iron dome is barely being used to defend against the Iranian air strikes. The iron dome is for short range missiles, not long range ballistic missiles.

healsonmepls They may not put it there after now. But they put there at that time. Sure there is no photo of wrecked jets but there is a high chance that below that roof there is a jet plane. It's at least damage some jets if not totally destroy it. If the building is gone than i would believe the 20 f35 jets being destroyed.

A direct hit from a missile carrying a 100+ kg warhead would likely have completely destroyed the hangar, leaving little recognizable structure. 2. The fact that only the roof appears damaged suggests there was no significant explosion at the point of impact. 3. This leads me to conclude that the damage was caused by falling debris resulting from a successful missile interception. 4. While this debris could be substantial in size and weight, it wouldn't have the explosive force of an intact warhead. This interpretation accounts for the observed damage pattern while considering the expected effects of different impact scenarios.
