Iran has unveiled its latest domestically-built stealth UAV, using the latest state-of-the-art technology.

The commander of the Aerospace Division of the IRGC says the UAV will play an important role in combats as well as in gathering intelligence. Brigadier-General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh stressed the significance of expanding Iran’s defense capabilities, and said Iran is among the world’s top combat UAV manufacturers. Tehran has repeatedly reaffirmed that its missile and military might are merely for defensive and peaceful purposes, posing no threat to other countries.
This stealth UAV is named Saeghe and is capable of carrying 4 guided missiles without being detected by enemy radars. Capturing US Army's RQ-170 stealth drone had significant impact on development of stealth UAV's and fighter jets in IRAN.
