we need some kind of tool to use when people doesn't follow the international law and its a tool that doesn't favorite one particular country.. like some kind of NATO consisting of members from all over the world who brings justice to those who doesn't follow the laws.
I get it, seriously I do. But, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. What the UN is supposed to represent is a good (still flawed and evolving) principled ideal for world peace. The current bad actors in the ME are the ones trying to delegitimise the UN so take care not to fall into the trap they set. Palestine and Iran have been given significant justification by Ishraheil to walk away from the UN, the West and any other regiment trying to gain access to resources but, they are STILL at the UN table, politically and peacefully voicing their positions and opposition to an otherwise blind world. If they can show up at the UN, then the least we can do is listen. Without the space, where else would we hear about their struggle when media integrity is at an all time low

It concerns the Israeli settlements in "Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem". The resolution passed in a 14-0 vote by members of the U.N. Security Council (UNSC). Four members with United Nations Security Council veto power, China, France, Russia, and the United Kingdom, voted for the resolution, but the United States abstained. The resolution states that Israel's settlement activity constitutes a "flagrant violation" of international law and has "no legal validity". It demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
The UNSC, and indeed the UN itself, may as well not even exist for all the attention Israel pays to its resolutions and judgements. And if one country pays it so little attention, why should ANY other country? It has become a joke... and a joke in bad taste, at that! 🤔
