A UCD Earth Institue hosted panel discussion examining the recent (2024) Ireland Climate Change Assessment Report. This comprehensive evaluation represents a significant milestone in understanding Ireland's climate landscape, drawing upon scientific research, systematic observations, and global analysis.
Chaired by Eoin O'Neill (UCD Earth Institute) and Liana Ricci (UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy), we hear interventions from Tadhg O'Mahony (UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy), Florence Renou-Wilson (UCD School of Biology and Environmental Science), and Gerald Mills (UCD School of Geography). They spoke about their contribution to the report, their perspectives and the role of UCD researchers in future climate research. There will be time for questions and answers afterwards.
