Have you heard of the travelling Indian show and there an Irish show band who pay homage to the native Americans who have the same fighting spirit as the Irish I grew up in Manchester England after leaving Ireland as Ava yuans every time they would come to the Irish social clubs we would be there to see them in there magnificent Indian headdresses and clothes and they would do Irish and American country music some original songs and even some regga the Irish love the native Americans we have so many things in common ❤️ever lasting peace to you all

The Irish People will never ever forget our brothers and sisters of the Choktaw Tribes who helped us from the starvation of the famine and British brutality. We stand with them in Solidarity of their Native Rights and will always remember their generosity and sacrifice, even when they poor themselves. They made a collection for us in 1847.
AMAZING!! As a Irish generational American- why have I never heard this story before???? THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR OUR CHILDREN TO KNOW!! I went to one of the best elementary schools, high schools and colleges, and I have NEVER heard this story!!! This needs to be taught and told within the Irish communities history! How kindness and thoughtfulness from the Native Americans helped us survive when our people were starving and dying!!!! I have a whole new respect for the Native Americans! I was thinking about my Irish heritage, and the theft of land, from the First Nations, by the European settlers. My dad and granddad immigrated to America, early in the 20th Century. My dad was was orphaned, and never had land until he retired from the Army in 1965. To me, that story is why you run the risk of being wrong when you preface a statement with the word, "All." (Mark Twain said, " All you have to do is, be born, pay taxes and die." I think he was on to something there...)

Yes, they are getting it. I’m from Dublin and my husband is Navajo and it is going out to those of native blood, and I believe each person will hopefully be getting $1500. ☺️ they deserve it and a whole lot more.

Because the Navajo nation was not being helped by the US government, so many where dying when covid hit and native Americans are dwindling to the point that there is not many left considering all other races upon this earth, they are low in no’s. One tribe helped way back in the day which all Irish people learn about growing up, it’s part of our history, even though the Irish government tried to hide this historic event until us Irish fought for it to be disclosed, so when the Irish heard how bad it was on the Navajo Reservation, the Irish people (not the poxy government, as some people believe it was them that sent the aid money, it most certainly wasn’t) wanted to help ease the situation. Also, Irish people are one of the best out their are helping others in times of need, they are very charitable. We know we can not fix the problem but we try.

Well, I can confirm to you that it’s all true and they will and are getting a portion of the donated funds.
