I love this video. I truly believe that Ireland is blessed by God in a special way. I love Ireland and thank God I live here. Our Lady of Knock is one of the most important marian sites in the world and the people of Ireland love her. It is now time to rekindle the fire. Come Holy Spirit set Ireland on fire for love of God.

Please help us Father, we need that fire Saint Patrick brought back, that love for God and recognising like our ancestors did, to be ready to die for the faith if it comes to it. I hate this new Ireland, evil has destroyed so much, I barely recognise Ireland anymore. Children need to learn the truth about our Catholic history and how courageous and heroic Saint Patrick was, the lies need to stop. We cannot throw away the most important part that made us who we are as Irish people, our faith.

I get the distinct impression that most of the comments here are from very good well meaning folks who do not live on the island of Ireland. Before anyone writes the obituary for Christianity in my country let me just point out that by all accounts the practice of Christianity including the majority Catholic sacraments and devotions is a long way from being extinguished. By comparison with any country in Europe apart from Malta & Poland Christianity is still part of a majority of people’s lives. A similar comparison can be made with North America apart from Mexico. There is some fairy tale notion that Ireland used to be a “land of saints and scholars” in the recent past. The reality is that while there always was a strong practice of faith there also has always been a vociferous anti catholic minority. In the past 30 years this minority has grown.It now dominates every sphere of our media TV Radio Newspaper social media. We do not have a polarised media landscape as in the USA with a clear division of media outlets between mainstream “progressive” and an alternative that respects faith and offers a fair promotion of conservative values. In Ireland 95% of our media is basically a clone of CNN New York Times NBC etc etc Our state funded broadcaster RTE collects a licence fee of over 100 Dollars per year from all householders and then spends most of its time undermining faith and promoting biased results in various referenda.Tgis occurs sometimes overtly but most often it is subtle drip drip drip bias by omission and particular emphasis on a particular agenda. The Church has offered plenty of ammunition to its vicious detractors and is now basically neutralised by a media that can spin church news and Bishops words any way they want to. There is no mystery who the faith is in decline here. We have become in effect the 51st state of the USA with the incredible quantity of US corporate investment here.hundreds of thousands of us work for US corporate firms absorbing US “woke” values. So between an aggressively secular media on a mission to “modernise” Ireland and an incredible growth in wealth and “education” in US corporate requirements the faith is being squeezed into the background towards irrelevancy for many many people.Personally I find some of the commentary on pages like this to be deeply insulting to the many hundreds of thousands of us who keep the flame of faith alight and who sacrificed sweat blood and much treasure fighting the international (Much of it US led) abortion juggernaut in the 2018 referendum. We fight on a daily basis an aggressive secular culture that is every bit as intolerant and “progressively liberal” than any state in the USA. So please reflect that fact of reality in the future instead of adopting the lazy stereotypical analysis that our opponents here routinely adopt in the anti catholic media that dominates our lives.God bless and please do better.

When you think of the influence that the first missionaries had in the pagan Europe after the Barbaric invasions, you could say that in those days they were three brilliant Cristian lights, Ireland, Spain, South of France and of course, Rome. without counting the European parts that depended of Byzantium. Even if I descend from Irish of Catholic and protestant faith, being Irish was synonym of being Catholic. I'm just waiting for that Irish rebellious spirit to wake up.

How can we watch the full documentary? I watched a Spanish version on you tube but I haven't been able to find the full documentary anywhere.
