@@gwynevans6440 Not really. Spedding, Bastareaud, Nakaitaci, Ben Arous, Chouly ... That's very average players at best

@@gwynevans6440 Picamoles, Dusautoir, Fofana, Guirado, Parra... Very good players but St-André coaching was abyssal during his 4 years era, Same with Noves and Brunel. Furthermore, the french national team was not the priority of french rugby in the 2010's. Top 14 clubs refusing agreements to free the players before the 6N and tests. It's far better now with new players, smart coaching and intelligent agreements with top 14.

2012-2018, the worst era of the french selection. There were some incredible players (dusautoir, picamoles, guirado, medard, fofana, huget) but the fed and coaching was incredibly bad and uninspired. St-André, Noves and Brunel were too "old-school" for the job. So you won't find many french fans very sad about this world cup 2015. Boring tactics always give bad results.

nice victory for ireland against a weak french team.. but i think that ireland lost a lot of strength and good players for the future in this fight

I don't think Ireland will make the same. mistake again, now they have a very big pool of world class players. France & Ireland are becoming the number 1 regions for Rugby in Europe.
