England as a region only has an HDI of 0.926. It's highest area is 0.976, sure, but that's no where near the average. As a comparsion, Ireland's national HDI is 0.955

I live in one if the main cities of Northern Ireland, and I can say there are barely any pure Irish there. Its a mix of different races. Sure, you can find orange heads but they may also be Scottish or English.
And also politically, us royalists chose to have our own independence from the Irish to join the U.K. We don't really want to join back with you guys..
