Which characters does she defeat? I must have missed that

Even her 80's counter part escaped capture with a machine gun . This chick has never been playable and in dimensions wasn't even tough enough to fight back against Christie . Like Christie give all the ninja's a run for there money but she could have a least tried . She's a freakin CIA agent and at least I think she's supposed to be a good one .

You can blame the game producers for that. She was supposed to have a lot of potential, but they completely screwed that up and made her a bond girl/damsel in distress type which is very cliche. They didn't do her justice at all.

​@@jocelynthom2904well she did provide a lot of support to ryu with the statue of liberty, werewolf coliseum, and airship. But yeah it's disappointing how they made her look like a helpless stalker near the end of the game

At least their chests can't be considered flat...

I don't consider Ayane flat if you include her DoA backstory (DoA 2-3).

They do have something. It was pretty obvious from Irene’s comment in razors edge. It’s assumed she’s already in the sheets with our boy.

The gist of Ninja Gaiden is that the Hayabusa clan are direct blood descendants of wielding the Dragon Sword; they are currently the only people allowed to use it as they have Dragon Blood within their veins. If anybody else uses it or lack proper discipline, the sword can swallow their soul. The Dragon Sword is carved out of a Dragon's Fang and 12 of the 13 Dragons put their entire essence into this very blade. Before time existed, the 13 Dragons defeated a Primordial Chaos God (known as Vigoor) that took form from a being that created the Universe. However, Vigoor corrupted one of them by using one of the Dragon's envy and hatred to turn against his brothers. The 12 Dragons were then defeated and that's when they bestow their remaining strength to a human to wield it against Fiends who chose to follow the path of the wicked. The Dragon Ninja Lineage have been ridding these Fiends for generations; some Fiends were even viewed as Gods as they can transcend beyond the physical plane of existence and bend time and reality itself: Nicchae is Nike from Greek Mythology (Goddess of Victory, War, and Destruction) Ishtaros is Ishtar from Assyrian/Babylonian Mythology (Goddess of Love, Sex, and Creator of Gods and Humans) PaZ Zuu is Pazuzu from Assyrian/Babylonian Mythology (Wind God where its might scares away demons) In NG1, the main villain is the Vigoor Emperor (not to be mistaken with Vigoor). He is after the Dark Dragon Blade, a blade carved out of the bones from the Dark Dragon that defeated the 12 Dragons. This indestructible sword plagued the ancient world with a body count rising up to a global scale, getting stronger with every kill. It is said that if the Vigoor Emperor removes the sword's seal, not only will He be the Devil Incarnate but have total control of all Fiends and Demons at His command. In NG2, the main villain is the Archfiend known as Vazdah. His cult believed Him to be the successor/reincarnation of Vigoor as He was born from the very remnants of Vigoor Himself. Vazdah was defeated by a previous Dragon Ninja, and the clan sealed Him away on Mount Fuji, where a portal to the Netherrealm can only be opened with the Demon Statue. Now, Vazdah's cult seeks to release Him and free Him from His weakened state. To defeat these Fiends, the Dragon Ninja uses the True Dragon Sword. One of the Hayabusa clan members bears the Dragon Sword while the other protects the Eye, a Sacred Jewel. When combined, the Dragon Sword's True Power has been revealed, coursing through the Dragon Ninja leaving him to do the impossible such as destroy the Dark Dragon Blade or defeat a higher dimensional deity. The True Dragon Sword is a divine blade; it is so powerful that it can "upset the balance of a delicate world" implying it's a planet buster or cause the NGverse to collapse if such a weapon exists for too long. The latter can be recognized as the 13 Dragons all defeated a deity that is supposed to destroy/devour the NGverse; now it's the 12 Dragons and the Dragon Ninja working together. This is why we always have the two separated in each game.

@@ratchetexperience8379 There was a Wasted Plotential video on Ayane and I wouldn’t call Kasumi a Ninja Gaiden character since she was a bonus character in NG3: RE with absolutely zero plot relevance having never even been mentioned during the story.

@@ratchetexperience8379 She basically just disappeared after NG1, even Sigma 2’s extra chapters did basically nothing story wise (there’s a wasted plotential on that too). Sonia/Irene kinda replaced her in 2 and 3, even in the DOA games her story is just her entering a tournament to test her skills without killing someone.

I’m surprised to find out they made him marry. I like the classic images of Irene at least but at not a fan of the blonde they came up with. Just ew. It’s not someone I’d ever picture for someone like Ryu
