Hi, I'm very new to resin crafts and absolutely love your creations but going through RU-vid watching resin videos I've seen a lot of scary videos of the dangers of using resin and epoxy and when I came upon your video I've seen as you have a shop full of lovely resin items I assume you make lots of them so was wondering if you could share how to use resin safely and if you use a specific brand or type and if using resin all the time has ever had any effects with you at all and what's the best way of using it safely? Thanks x
Hello! That is definitely a whole video on its own that I will look into🤣. The basics is to work in a separate, well ventilated area, wear a respirator (I use 3M half face respirator), and always wear gloves. I use TotalBoat resin exclusively because that’s what works well for me. You will have to experiment to find the brand that works best for you. I’ve had a brand that gave me headaches, but many use it without a problem. Regardless of what a brand promotes, take all precautions.
@EllafulDeco Thankyou so much for your help, yes that would be a helpful video , with only just starting out in resin it's hard to know what's best to do and what to use so I appriciate your help , thankyou x
Thank you, Tammy! I purchased SVG files for all sea creatures individually and put them into a sheet for vinyl myself. I just searched “-sea creature name- silhouette svg” 🙂
