Great stuff.. foamed concrete. Lightweight & strong. Steel frame windows. Nice & tight. No leaks, no bugs, no worry about termites! No shingles to flit away in wind.. and roof and walls are also the insulation! This is how we WOULD build homes in America - except! Except the syndicate that owns the forests & uses massive amounts of timber! THAT is the monster no one sees.. and they are united with ALL of the other players that keep us living in houses made of termite food! Which also rots & needs constant maintenance. The paint industry! And the other players.. HOA's and city planners that are in the syndicate. They force much of the nation to build by their rules! Once - we were a free people. Not anymore!

Wow! The foundation just poured itself! Day 1, where I come from, would have lines being drawn, holes being dug, and a foundation being poured. What you show is the easy stuff at the end.

This is pretty old technology and engineering principles. It's been successfully used (in variations) all over the world. The biggest problem with it is cost of the composite plastic (styro) has gone through the 'roof' beginning in '98 with new processing (Styrofoam - poly per tonne emissions are not good) regulations in most country's. A lot of comments here are pretty funny, if not a little bizarre. Reinforced with concrete and rebar, these walls are very sturdy against traditional elements. Certainly no worse than a typical wood structure. Problems arise when more than two floors are required. The advantages of the materials used are its resistance to water, especially flooding. While walls may have to be scraped of their plaster, paneling or paint, they can be resurfaced and repaired. They won't rote like wood and can be sanitized. Several homes in New York were built using these same methods and were some of the first homes repaired, quickly and efficiently after Hurricane Sandy. Asian family's prefer single floor homes and enjoy smaller homes than westerner's do. In areas where natural disasters are not a prevalent threat, this type of construction and materials used makes a lot of sense. If a catastrophic earthquake were to happen, the home maybe severely damaged beyond repair, but its occupants would probably survive. Far better to have a light weight wall fall on them then one that weighs 10 times more. If the concrete and rebar reinforcement is done correctly, its ability to withstand severe winds is favorable, if not on par with traditional wood construction methods. Vancouver, B.C., a city that has stringent earthquake building codes, has allowed this type of material for decades. But they used Styrofoam blocks like lego to build the walls with vertical rebar going through each segment a minimum of 5', staggered to the height of the wall. The Styrofoam block cavities are then filled with cement. The reason its popular there is because the blocks create an easy way to create curved walls. The use of styrofoam reduces the amount of concrete by as much as 35% while maintaining the same strength as one without. Based on what I see in this video, the amount of cement used appears to be significantly lower. This makes sense because there is no basement and is only a single floor dwelling. In my opinion, it's a well built structure and probably reduces the cost of construction significantly, has good insulating characteristics, water proof and likely has excellent noise absorbing qualities.

It looks like a good option to recycle styro material from all sources into something useful. More strength and burglar proof material can be addes in the form of a wire screen or net inside the panels. Not bad for a low cost, fast erecting dwelling. I would prefer this to a trailer.

Might work for Arctic Aquatic Insulation. Some weight layering insulation so everything lasts??? Maybe plastic with foam core. To limit ice buildup at arctic buildings + insulate from warm water. This is valuable knowledge by the way. Martin Holmes Sudbury Canada

this is a housing program for the poor in malaysia. malaysia doesn't have earthquakes, hurricanes and huge floods. these houses are given free or sold at a very cheap price.

i like very much this type house it is possible in Indian villages.

Here in Italy, we do not use these buildings even for garden tools. Nevertheless they are cheap, they have the flavor of little lasting. In Europe people like brick and concrete.

It was cool, to watch the build, and the craftsmanship, of the workers. Having done electrical work for 25 years, I'm hesitant to see the conduit immersed in the foam like that, any moisture causes heat, and foam and heat don't mix well. Just my 2 cents, but I liked the video.

It looks Great, Easy to install and maybe cheap but it is not structurally safe, I leave in a HVZ "if you know what I mean" and it would never pass any structural plan reviewers of any building department in Florida. Check; ICF blocks which are easy to install, quick and very, very good for insulation.

The entire base structure should have been put up the first day. This is basically a SIPs construction build. SIPs building construction is usually stronger but what we didn't see is where they laid the 2x4 or 2x6 to the flooring or the connecting units.

Styrofoam in middle of boards even I’ve seen plywood. Picked up used panels from a guy for a small dog house to build told me his house was made of the exact panels and outside could never tell was super nice home think he would been very wealthy
