IRIS MONDO 🔪「My Sweet Killer」.....style & heart to the maximum 

IRIS MONDO is awesome! I went to their live in Shimokitazawa last year. They were playing at KNOCKOUT FES 2023. I saw this song live, it was awesome! The lyrics of the song are incredible! Really cool word play in the chorus: キラキラキラまるでKILLER キラキラキラ煌びやかな It sounds like Kurumi is repeating "Killer" 3 times but infact its "kirakirakira" which is like sparkle/glitter and then in English she says killer. It really adds to the thought that she is just repeating "Killer" in english. SUPER cool when I figured that out! Both of the ladies are very nice as well, it was awesome getting to meet them! I will say, the emotion both Kurumi and Super Sattan put in their music is second to none. Out of all the bands I saw in Japan, no other band can duplicate the atmosphere they create. Hoping to see them again this fall!

Great song! Super Sattan is probably another one of Japan's most underrated guitarist. You get a little taste of it here, but she really impressed me during Covid when she joined an online band called the Copycats. They released a cover song video every ten days for nearly a year!
