If you are subscribed to me then you will know that I make these videos to hopefully help to relax you and maybe even induce some ASMR tingles.
If you have stumbled across my videos, maybe you are wondering why I whisper/tap on things/crinkle objects/make roleplays?
The reason I do this is because of the amazing phenomenon that is ASMR. Instead of me trying to explain what it is, I will leave some links attached for you.

As someone who is learning on DUolingo, please continue this series. Hearing people speak it instead of a robot is amazing, and your voice is so calming.

@@duckduckgooseberry7051 your not irish if u say that. Do you know why its endangered? Do you even understand the depth behind it? Obviously not. Its a very historic and poetic language full of emotion and tied into the natural world. The english killed anyone who spoke it then killed 4 million irish. Its a miracle it exists. It makes me very sad ud say something like that. The language is a blessing that shouldn't have been endangered in the first place. I for one am in heaven with the irish asmr videos

My family is a mix of nationalities, though I am mainly Scottish and Irish. My grandmother had been telling me that I'm simply American when I ask on my family heritage/history. I've been very interested in my Celtic background every since I was little. I'm deciding to take up the Irish language as I find it beautiful and very unique, but Scottish Gaelic seems much harder to learn as not many people have heard of it or offer to teach it. As of now it's been a about a month since I started both languages, and I'm just starting to speak in sentences! I'm 14 by the way, and this video is very relaxing though it was a bit of a review.😁

This is different to what of the Irish I remember learning, I think I might have learned the Donegal style, I think the Gaeltacht area our school went on trips to was in Donegal.

Gary McCaffrey oh Jeepers, Donegal Irish is like double Dutch for me. Is it the words I used or the accent? My accent is VERY neutral because I learned my early Irish in Dublin & then moved to Kerry and had to adapt

To state where you live, you can use a form of "tá" along with the phrase "i mo chónaí". "Cónaí" is a masculine noun meaning dwelling or residence; "i mo chónaí" therefore means "in my residence". (The eclipsing word "i", which has been mentioned before, means "in"; it is, coincidentally, also spelt "in" when it comes before a vowel). Tá mé i mo chónaí i dToronto. I live in Toronto. Bhí tú i do chónaí i mBaile átha Cliath. You lived in Dublin. Tá mé i mo chónaí in Arizona. I live in Arizona.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a sole whisper lover myself but I think for the majority a switch between whisper & soft spoken is preferred... The next lesson I do will be whisper only :-)
