Even after 9 years, this is still by far one of my renditions of this piece. Even more beautiful on cello!

Came back here after 5 years to listen to this again))) This cello sound is pure magic to my ears!

This is absolutely stunning!! I love how rich the cello makes the song sound. The technique is also plays a major part. You are an amazing cellist. In my opinion, this tune does a lot more to the ears in the lower range that the higher. I love how it sounds more when I play it on my viola that when I play my violin or mandolin.

She makes it look so gosh darn easy. -_-

First off, OUTSTANDING music! Second off: I’m only here because of a story called “A Puppet to Her Fame”, this was the music they had in the background and it was amazing I just had to hear it by itself

Brilliant! This is a dark and moody tune (to me) at the best of times, this takes it to another level of darkness and moodiness. This is a stunning version.

Thank you, i looked for cello in folk. I sing and play guitar in a trio (guitar, violin/mandoline and contrabas). How warm sounds a cello; it is a sound you can hardly paint in words. Sad or happy, there is always the kind of intelligent expression, a kind of whisdom...hard to expres but so nice

This song is making me thinking about my life currently. The slow opening is making me reflect on my currently wrecked savings and finances, and my conflicted emotions with my current living arrangement. When it picks up speed and becomes lively, it causes me to think about the good that I've been doing in my friends' lives, and how my savings and finances became wrecked. The slow ending, has me wondering if it was actually worth it.

This instrument, when played well ( like it is here) can't help but have some huge gravitas. Would sound great in a dramatic feature film sound track...if it was a good film.
