It's a simple message but one so easily overlooked in the hustle & bustle of modern life. Going to the pub can be a way for people on their own to be around others and not feel alone, even if it is only for a short while. Their is a sense of community there that brings people together. Well done Charlie's Bar, you have delivered a powerful message in a beautiful way, thank you.

Other companies literally spend millions on the perfect Christmas ad but this is the one that genuinely has me sobbing.. it’s so simple yet so beautifully done. This is what Christmas should be about, invite those lonely (elder) people guys. Even if it’s just for an hour, it can make their day 🩷

That's why I loved christmas always, it makes even the Scrooge Ones a little better... I would wish everyone out there would give his soul the chance to be free and not excluded from life the whole year trough. Merry Christmas to you all and be aware, someday you might be that lonely person... may the echo of your past then reward you...

I may not be old yet at 50, but everyone should be aware of one thing. We are ALL getting older and we will bury our parents and at some point bury our loved ones. Then our houses will be empty and we might end up like the old man in the video. Humanity counts, kindness and appreciation count. We all only have one life, so let's help each other and just be human!

Wonderful advert but maybe some of the money made from this could give some old people cheaper food or drink in pub. It is by far the best meaningful about but Iceland decided not to waste money on advert and give the amount to charity instead.
The BBC reported it cost £700 to make. Small pubs don't make a lot of money and this video will touch the hearts of millions of people worldwide and make them think.
