i stopped in the middle of watching Irish comedian David Nihill talk about this black girl doing riverdance, i had to see what he was talking about. this was beautiful. she shows this music and the steps being meant for each other.

There are different styles within Irish dancing. There is the competition style, which is very stiff with a straight back and hands straight down by the side. Then there are sean-nós styles (sean nós mean “old way” in irish) which long predates formal competing, and it is much more loose and down to the ground. I’m sure this going lady can kick ass in any style she wants to do. Personally I think I prefer watching people dancing Sean- nós.

Irish culture is different. The humor is sky high, the warmth of the people just hits you, they dont abide by silly rules or constraints. Theyre Irish, theyre worldly people. They have a culture you can feel like a heart beat in a instant and its nothing but vibrant love. Look up irish soccer fans and irish singing airports and you get just a hint of what makes us tick.

I guess the dress dance is the traditional way and the blue outfit dance her new way? I like her interpretation of it. The traditional way is fairly stiff, her way in the blue outfit seems a little more smooth. Maybe I'm just seeing it that way because of the outfits 😆

in the Dress, she’s dancing competition style (arguably the least traditional style of Irjsh dancing). In the blue, she’s dancing a more sean nós (meaning “old way”), more traditional style.

I'm sure she is into this heart and soul. Yet it's getting ridiculous how people of different cultures are being substituted into European cultural dances. I don't think it would go over well if the Irish were substituted into African traditional dances. More brainwashing and conditioning by media to get people to think this is the norm. Also RAP IS NOT TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC. I've seen her moves with rap music in another video.

Beautiful but horrific this 'Irish costume' - this is borrowed from US child abuse fashion spectacles - some Irish ladies formed a company to merchandise this very expensive horrible junk. Expensive - a death blow for families not so wealthy. See the simple dress Riverdance.
