I was initially disturbed by the violence reference in the chorus, but on reflection I think it refers to chaos or action. In the end, I think it’s great.
The Warning are not a "copy, paste" type of band. It isn't always noticable if your not looking for it, but they do try to change up their choruses as a song progresses. Dani has said as much in the past. Cool reaction, thanks man. ❤✌🤘
Does being stared at make you feel ….. S!CK? 🤣🤣 mission accomplished 😊 great reaction. Yup, that chorus is great, how they evolve it thru the song. Your gonna love the new album I think. This producer did the whole album so I’m guessing the production style will be similar throughout
I'm with you, and I like the production on S!CK. I liked the production of the last album as well, even though it's a cleaner sound than this. I get it that some of the fanbase doesn't love the new direction in production. There's no right or wrong and that's just personal preference. No matter what, S!CK still hits hard! The Warning band knows composition and how the stop/start dynamics make it hit even harder than it would otherwise. Killer song.
They've done it again and given me yet another great song to add to my playlist, I am really looking forward to their next album and hopefully they will release the next single Hell You Call A Dream (HYCAD) soon. The video is brilliant and they are having so much fun it really shows they love what they do.
Yeah, I think the same as you, Zep! I think they are marching in this song to their own authentic own sound and style, because the "Error" album had. a lot of influences, I think I commented that before in a video form yours: Error sounded a lot like Whithin Temptation, even Money and More, have a lot of Deff Leppard influences, Amour sounded like Placebo with steroids, Choke has a very Black Sabbath atmosphere, in Evolve they got closer to Judas Priest in a part of the song, but in this song they sound as them, is a new sound, Metal with a punk touch, closer to what they started at the Queen of the Murdes Scene album.
I watch a lot of RUSSIAN Artists and they say “CLASS” too. I listen to many International Artist and in fact that’s WHO I lean towards daily. The VILLAREAL Sisters 🇲🇽 are Amazing and I love the Song “MATIRIO” which is in their first language. I’m older so I appreciate the new sound and uniquely creative MUSIC by them. I have to remind myself that they are very young but their skill level on the instruments are TOP 🔝 LEVEL. Thank you ZEP for the reaction. 🙆🏻♀️🎼❤️🔥🙌🏽
An album with bangers like More, Sick and the unreleased Hell you call a dream (HYCAD) on it. Yes it is going to be sick. I am so exited for it to be released. They definitely change things upp a little, but are very much still carrying The Warning brand. Those distinct choruses and their way to compose and arrange. Allthree albums they have released before the coming one sound somewhat different but are all good. The nect is surely be a banger too. Imagine this band releasing so many songs in a row and not one of them is bad or even half ass. This is going to be the next legit Super group! I have listened to this son so many times i have stopped a long time ago and I realize there is very much to discover. So I´m still enjoying every listening and finding tidbits that makes me react. The Warning never go generic and always do things a little different or throw surprises in the mix. It´s what makes them so great. great reaction!
I like the punchy modern production. For their new album they worked with a new producer who co-wrote 'More' and 'Sick'. They also wrote songs with Muse keyboard player Dan Lancaster who they met on tour last year.
loved it. your honesty and respect goes a long way with TWA. BE GOOD TO ONE ANOTHER AND ROCK ON !!! also might i suggest Freeze The Fall from Canada who are 15 and 16 yos and their first single from a kickstarter a lot of TWA helped on called GLITCH
Yes please do a reaction to the whole Teatro Metropolitan concert as that is one of the best concerts ever. This fourth album is gonna be killer. They still have another song to release soon before the release of the album. Can't wait. Great reaction and I do love your honesty. Not every song is for everyone and I understand that.
Buena reacción!🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽 Las hermanas evolucionando pero siempre siendo ellas mismas. Vamos a ver qué tanto cambia tu "top 5" cuando salga su nuevo disco.
I don't think I've watched you in a year or two. Looking good, man. The hair and beard are on point. I also think you were sick last time I watched you. Hope you feel better. And what better music video to watch when you're sick than "S!CK" by The Warning.
The Warning is a "class" live band - They're coming to UK and Europe in April and August - get your ticket - you won't regret it! And, that is a certitude.
My only problem with the chorus is that, typically, the verses have lower notes (which this does) and then the chorus starts on a higher note (which this doesn't). For a clear example from The Warning, think of "Disciple." Verse starts low, pre-chorus builds a little higher, then Dany comes in with, "Kill the system, Kill the man."
If I recall, you were a huge fan of Muse but I haven't watched you since before they toured with Muse. (I mysteriously got unsubscribed.) What did you think when The Warning opened for Muse?
I also wasn’t a fan of the production on the Error album. The songs are great and if you break down the stems they are also excellent, but the whole treatment with so much reverb was somewhat meh for me. The live versions of those songs are amazing and they are what I listen to mostly. I’m much more hopeful for the upcoming album. This song makes a statement with the production. The scooped out low end and distortion on almost everything gives everything a very retro feel. This is the first song where I have preferred the studio version to the live, although admittedly, so far, the live versions are all low quality cell phone footage. I’m really looking forward to the release of the studio version of “Hell you call a dream” as it’s the one that I like best of the songs that they have previewed live.
