What the heck? Those sausages don't even remotely look like the originals from Germany 0.o Don't know what you bought there, but definitely no German sausages :-D And you don't roast Bockwurst!!! You cook it!

Absolutely Barbaric sure :-) if you roast the sausage you basically fry it in a pan. You cook it in a pot with water which results in a very different taste :)

I'm sorry but I'm not an english native speaker. In german "cooking" means putting things in hot water and "roasting" would be frying things in a pan for example. I think I confused boiling with cooking sorry ^^

You don't eat the skin of the Weisswurst.... And the thing they said was Bockwurst: That was no Bockwurst...the red one they put on the plate with the Weisswurst, that was a Bockwurst. And I never heard of Fishwurst.. but I am from South Germany... perhaps they eat that in the North. And you forgot Thüringer Rostbratwurst.. one of the most popular Wursts in Germany ^^

I'm german and I've never heard of Fishwurst, I think it's more popular in the northern regions. The Weisswurst is a Bavarian thing. I'm from West Germany and we most likely eat the classic "Bratwurst". Next time you should try the "Frankfurter". :)

holly shit, soooo wrong, all of it. the first one was a bratwurst not a bockwurst, the real currywurst was not made from red sausage, ok in some regions they do but its wrong. the weisswurst has to get his skin of, before you eat it and the red one next to the weisswurst, that was a bockwurst. nobody eats fischwurst in germany, i am german and i never had one in 42 years and that last one looked like an accident not like a bratwurst. dont know what this was, but not a bratwurst more a shity american hot dog or what ever. please next time about german food, feel free to ask me, it would be an honor to help you. by the way, i love your channel. greetz from hamburg!

I am German and I had Fischwurst on vacation in Schleswig-Hollstein. So there is that, they weren't wrong with that one, but it isn't a very common one.

Yeah closer to the coast, the butcher also had a sausage with Krabben. We only tried it once or twice, not so good. I like traditional Bratwurst better.
