I'm Greek and Red Donkey Beer is craft beer Tsipouro is Greece's version of moonshine, it's harsh and gets you drunk. Ouzo is meant to be diluted and drank slowly, if you drink it like vodka or whiskey you'll be wishing that you can turn back time. Agiorgitiko grape variety wine should only be bought only if it's from Nemea region in Greece. Deus Semisparkling wine won gold BERLINER WEIN TROPHY in 2013, so ya it's pretty freaking good.

Ouzo drinking tip: Drop an ice cube in a short cup or glass, then pour ouzo over the ice cube until it looks kind of an iceberg. Use enough ouzo so the ice cube barely floats in the cup. Then hold the cup inside your palms, and gently roll it back and forth so you accelerate the procedure a bit. Either that, or let the ice cube melt in the cup a bit before consuming. You are ready to drink when you can NO LONGER SEE through the glass, meaning its 0% transparent (down from around 100%). So when it almost looks like a watered milk, you can safely enjoy without passing out in 30 minutes. Peeps in this video who drunk ouzo like a "shot" are either brave or ignorant enough to do so. Like other spirits with high alcohol percentages, this shouldn't be a tip at all, but the standard way to drink a >40% volume, "two fingers" filled glass properly. Don't do shots with ouzo guys, come on, you are going to get mad drunk. At least in Greece, most of the people mix water (fluid or in the shape of ice cubes) because ouzo is such a strong spirit to consume it straight from the bottle. This tip can apply to tsipouro as well (WARNING: Unlike ouzo, tsipouro WON'T lose it's transparency). In the case of raki, don't use this tip as it is best consumed in smaller amounts (in "shot" glasses) and without mixing it with water. Some people also claim that raki should never be mixed with water because it will be bad for your stomach afterwards. Nevertheless, there are a lot of folks who mix raki with water to easen up the taste and the effect.

You are definitely not supposed to down so much ouzo (2 fingers), like this. Or tsipouro. Either take small shots, sip it, or mix it with a bit of water (or ice) to smooth it out. It's more of an acquired taste though.

Ι'm Greek and i know none of these labels. The only observation I'd like to make is the most people drink Ouzo almost always with ice cubes, watered down or with lemonade. So I would suggest you try it with ice cubes and watered down, it's much better that way. Αlso i have never seen Tsipouro that looks like whiskey. Usually it's transparent-white,like Ouzo. And you don't drink so much!
