To those who are wondering why Americans are obsessed with Peanut butter: 1. We grow a to of peanuts. 3rd behind China & India. 2. Peanut butter was created in America. 3. During WW1, the Depression and WWII, it fed Americans. 4. It's f delicious. Europeans won't understand because you don't grow peanuts like we do and it's expensive to import.

Phish Food is my all time favorite, the factory does tours and you get a sample at the end and I got to sample it before it came out years ago. It's awesome living about an hour from Ben and Jerry's factory.

Comfortably Numb That's the US as well. Canada is more known for maple syrup because they do produce a LOT of maple syrup, I mean come on their symbol is a maple leaf, but the US has Vermont. Have you never heard of Bacon Maple bars? I was raised with pancakes and waffles having peanut butter and maple syrup on them. Many, many people put maple syrup on their breakfast meats or their eggs. Maple flavored bacon or breakfast sausage is a thing. For me, who lives in the US by the way, bacon + peanut butter brings to mind maple syrup. So, chocolate covered bacon dipped in peanut butter would be covered in maple syrup. If you really object to me saying MAPLE syrup, I could change the statement to just syrup if you want.

LOL I died at the peanut butter part. In high school, I was good friends with an exchange student from Norway and a British immigrant. At lunch one day they saw me put peanut butter on celery, and they were like “THAT’S IT! VEGETABLES?! I’m done!!!”

The con of ice cream is its half air. The weight is always half the volume. With other thick liquids like ketchup the weight can be more than the volume. Plus water expands when it freezes, taking up more space...
