Purdy's is proudly a a Vancouver treasure. I live near the factory. It's an elementary school tradition to go on a field trip there which always ends with a piece of chocolate. Love their huge variety of chocolate creations.

As a Canadian, I have to say that maple isn't really a popular flavour here, except when it comes to syrup for pancakes or waffles. Not in the Western part of the country anyway: I think it's more popular in the East and especially in Quebec. On the West coast various maple-flavoured things are much more popular with tourists than with locals.

All jokes aside please never try to mess with a moose..... they get angry easily, can get up to 2.1 meters tall at the shoulders, weigh over 635kg, have a average antler width of 1.8 meters and can run 56km/h. Hitting one will total your vehicle and they will put their antlers down to meet you so they go straight into your windshield

My step-mom is Texan, where pecans grow like weeds. She says "pee-cans are what you see on the side of the highway.' P'Khans is how she says it.

Rogers Chocolates are S-tier chocolates. Probably my favourite chocolate, you can get them on the ferry to Vancouver Island so I load up when I go see my mom.

I am almost 50 years old and Canadian and I HAVE NEVER laid eyes on ANY of these chocolates! Never even heard of them. They must be Boutique shop chocolate because they aren't sold in stores!
