A pulsating 8 try cracker as Ireland beat Wales to keep to keep their Grand Slam charge on track as an 81st minute Jacob Stockdale try sealed the Six Nations clash in Aviva Stadium. #teamofus
I love Ireland. To think rugby there is a minor sport and to do so well on an international stage is quite staggering. I wish them the very best come the 2019 RWC. The Pumas are also a grate team to watch. An AB fan.
It’s not minor here at all, we would not be able to sell out a 82’000 seater stadium on occasion if it was not. By 82’000 seater stadium I mean Crowe Park in 2008.
@@denisemccarthy5384 It is a pretty minor. Comes in 5th or 6th in popularity. The GAA dominate everything. Pass through any village or town in Ireland and the first thing you'll see is a church and a GAA pitch. The very fact that you're talking about filling a GAA stadium when the Aviva is the smallest national stadium in Europe and that's only possible because its shared with football!
@@nifty512 ,yes its funny how people say rugby is a minor sport in certain countries yet it seems to get bigger crowds than any other sport especially for internationals the 6 nations is the best attended sporting event per match in the world..
Great game by both Celtic teams , also the Celts getting and finishing 1st 2nd and 3rd too brilliant your rugby was the best in this competition . Although well done too Ireland and a good win and good tries , you deserved the Grand Slam and you won most convincingly against England at Twickenham , what confidence guys we’ll done you were ultimately terrific . The Welsh have done brilliantly considering they were laying with there 2nd team and fair-play they scored every time they had the ball . Also if Anscombe pass at the end goes to hand at the end of the game Wales score , and win the game with a three to two overlap , although Stockdale had other ideas and read the pass terrifically and scored an outstanding Irish interception try , and increase the score and victory for Ireland .
not really shane only when they are up in the ops half what i have seen to games just won with a lot luck the defence is shocking play like this with scots and we could be on to a beating
We have let in 3 tries in each of the last 2 games. Wales had a chance to win after only 30% of possession. While we were the better team no doubt, if the defense doesn't adjust, Scotland could punish us badly if their real team shows up!
Having a chance isn't winning tho. We where always comfortable. Take into consideration the key players we had missing. Wales where at full strength. It's our title to lose.
not if we dont tighten our defence we could lose ireland let in 5 daft trys cant do that against big scots pack we need to tighten our defence wales and italy ran over us
Regardless of all the hype, Wales are amazing at the moment, and Cardiff in the Spring is the most important match of 2019 for Ireland outside of the World Cup. Looking forward to it.
They're obviously not offside dimwit, don't comment with your negative subjective rubbish if you've nothing nice to say. This game was nothing to do with NZ.
I thought Wales would go to Dublin and win comfortably to be really honest but the Irish held on to the ball well and stopped the Welsh getting any ball to there dangerous backs and were by far the better team up front bashing and bullying the Welsh forwards and way to powerful for Wales in the set-piece and retaining complete possession of the ball . Ireland scored some very good tries too and made it look quite easy , against what looked liked a very lacklustre Wales defensive line . I think Ireland will win the Grand Slam because they will beat Scotland the same way they beat Wales and England look nothing like the team they have been . Has for Wales every time they had the ball they scored so Ireland need to work on there defensive line especially out wide where they got caught on many occasions with Carney way out of position leaving tonnes of space . Can not wait for the next round . Ireland England Scotland France Wales Italy
Honestly you can't say by the ref as Ireland, in every match so far, has had more than 60% in every match. Kinda pathetic to blame the ref when the statistics are against you.
