*A great vacuum for the price. The suction is awesome. Excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great **MyBest.Tools** on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.*
I have a 960 but was looking to upgrade to a i7. This review is exactly what I needed! I'll likely get the i7 (without the self cleaning bin--i7+ seems too pricey). I'll probably get the bin later on when the price drops.
@@juice885 You can't do anything with the map the 960 creates except look at it. The only way to have it clean only the kitchen is to block off all the entranceways or use the virtual barriers.
So far so good with this vacuum. ru-vid.comUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
I almost bought the 960 for my second floor but opted for another I7. Being able to select a room or area to clean and the self cleaning base is just so worth the extra money. If the 960 had room select I may have bought it. Would have regretted after cleaning the dirt bin the first time.
it would be nice if they can update the software for the bin on the 7+. For instance make it where you can pick the time when the bin will be emptied. So if I have it clean at 5 AM it just docks after it's done and that's it and at 10 or 11 the bin comes on so it don't wake up someone.
there's also a big difference in the brush extractors as well, the debris opening between the brush is very tight on the 960 the extractors are the same, and the i7 they are not the same the bottom one is a 960 style and the top exactor made like in a V shape pattern so its open a lot more of course its going to clean better, better air flow and what ever it runs over even if its a decent size it wont end up juggling it around causing the brushes to stall and try again thinking its jammed and by the time it most likely will leave it behind.bet if they redesigned the extractors to have the same opening size as the i7 the airflow would be increased and it will clean just as good cause the 960 his little to no space for decent size debris but it still does a good job getting them
If you just want a robot vacuum then the roborock is amazing...but if you want a self empty bin the only go to is roomba. All the other except the T8+ are not good.
