This can possibly be one of the reasons why you keep getting the full bag message. My roomba would vacuum about 3 times before sending me the error message. If this description fits your vacuum, give this a shot and see if it helps.
Thank you so much. This was so very helpful. Had the exact place stopped up on my Roomba. Your instructions were absolutely spot on. Made the job easy. I really appreciate the help.
It worked! The errors just started when I also happened to put in a different brand of bags that has a zipper so you can reuse. So I was certain the vacuum knew and was giving this error bc of that. But then why would there be so such ratings for the bags, I thought. When I unscrewed the bottom at first a found a jumble of dog hair... That was stuck on a FLAT ROCK that was probably blocking 90% of the pipe!! (Where does a decorative stone come from in my house? Kids="I want this rock forever mom") Thanks for the simple video to show where to look.
I have two huskies, and it has been good except i started getting full bag error even with a new bag. Thank you for posting the fix, going to try it right now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I also started receiving bag full error messages after I changed to an off brand. When I bought the iRobot brand bag, and it still didn’t work I realized it was something else. Glad to have found your video. I ended up finding a small plastic cap that my cats play with stuck in the tube. Your video was awesome. Thanks again!! 🙏😀
Solid advice. I'm going to give this a try right now. I just had the "bag full" message last night and I've only owned it for a week brand new and its supposed to last for about "60 days."
Thanks for this. You just saved me a bunch of frustration. Mine had picked up a piece of debris under a cabinet that was too big to fit through the channel in the base. Dog hair was piling up behind it. What notified me of a problem before I even got the bag full warning was when the Roomba was trying to empty the bin. It would try to suck stuff from the bin 3 times instead of the usual once. As soon as I cleared the obstruction and told it to empty the bin, it went just a single time as I had expected.
While this didn't solve my problem, it was extremely helpful. I had to pull the rollers out, which was very simple (no tools required) and once those were removed, it was obvious where the issue existed. Give your Husky a scratch for me.
Duane, a clog was hiding in the tubing just as you proposed. A vacuum cleaner is needed for the vacuum cleaner. Humanity has made things just a little more complicated.
It was irritating me that it wouldn’t come on and vacuum automatically because of the clog. It was driving me insane trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Thank you again.
Just got a dead robot roomba i4 and I see the battery is dead. Question to you since you have the tall charging station with the dust bag like I have, when you plug it in do any lights come on or sounds you would hear. Don’t know if my charger is working. Thank you.
I will check out your solution when I get home and all the Roomba documentation it says to ensure the sensors that monitor the bag although I can find no evidence of any sensors that monitor the bag. Does anybody know anything about that?
